Please I need some fluff with cloud!! I love the "only one bed" trope, so If you could write something where they're (x reader) traveling and need to get rest at some motel, but discover there's only one room with a bed. That would be great 🖤 something along they end up cuddling on the bed and finally admitting feelings all blushy and embarrassed stuff.

You and Cloud had just finished a long mission both of you were exhausted.

You were currently tiredly walking the streets of Midgar looking for a hotel

“I’m so tired Cloud, I don’t want to walk anymore” you groaned

“Just a little bit longer, I’m sure the hotel is around here somewhere”

Right as cloud said that the Midgar hotel came into zoom

“Look there it is” you pointed and started walking quickly towards it.

Once inside the hotel you asked for a room with two beds

“Sorry ma’am, we only have one room available with one bed”

You looked at Cloud then back at the worker.

“T-that’ll be fine”

Once you both got into the hotel room you kicked your boots off and fell face first into the bed.

Cloud was putting his sword against the wall.

“I’ll sleep on the floor”

“Cloud I’m not letting you sleep on the dirty floor” you scoffed and scooted over on the bed.

The bed surprisingly felt smaller once Cloud laid down next to you. You could feel his body super close to yours.

“I-i’m sorry I’m so close this bed is small” he stammered

You chuckled while laying on your side to look at him.

He currently had his eyes closed relaxing.

You laid there staring at him for awhile till he looked at you.

“Why are you staring”

“I wasn’t staring Cloud!!! I mean maybe I was i-its just your so pretty to look at” you nervously chuckled

A faint blush spread across his cheeks.

“T-Thanks, you’re pretty too” he said looking away

“Cloud.. I think i love you” you said while hiding your face in the crook of his neck.

You felt his heartbeat banging against his chest.

“Y-Y/N I love you too”

You felt him awkwardly shift and place a quick kiss on your head.
