Hmm. I feel like I need more blogs to follow. My dash is awesome but not active enough (or I've got just too addicted to Tumblr........) and I also have many mutuals who also reblog and follow the same blogs as I do so I often see many same posts on my dash for 2-3 times on daily basis.
And I was also recently looking at the list of blogs I follow and I don't know if I've ever cleaned it but I see there's so many blogs that haven't been active in years so no wonder why it looks like I follow many people (over 100) but still the amount of different people on my dash is probably something between 10 and 20, might even be less, depending on a day. Also makes me bit sad to see icons that I recognize and then realize that right, they actually haven't been online in 3 years or so :o It's so weird because it takes a while to realize that hey, this person hasn't been on my dash in ages??? I just don't know how to find blogs to follow. I don't search or browse tags that often and not sure if I'd be confident enough for making a post about looking for blogs with certain themes.
I also feel like I need to find more people. I'm bored to death 24/7 and not too many people are talking to me (currently literally everyone seems to have gone into some sort of a hibernation) and I always get more social towards the spring. I just don't like looking for friends. I don't believe in that really, friends are found. A few times I've tried these where people look for new friends but I just feel like they don't start right. It's somewhat awkward "so let's see if we get along eh", and if you don't, I still won't be able to forget about them. That's my "problem" - I remember basically everyone I have ever communicated with, doesn't even need to be more than a few days and I still go back to thinking about them and wondering what they probably are up to and where they might be at nowadays.
So I like it more when you just spontaneously start talking to people and find out that hey, we get along super well and maybe we could be friends too. It's just... I'm so bad at this because I have no clue how to approach people. I'm socially awkward. And I feel like I'm bothering everyone anyway and try to save them from my stupidity. Anyway I've never ever been the first to talk to anyone. I've always been very introverted and shy but the moment someone talks to me first, I'm like a different person. I'm usually bit quiet at first but when I get over the shyness/nervousness, it's impossible to shut me up...
