homesteading newlyweds
I know I’ve taken a long break and it’s been a while since I’ve updated but the burnout, grief, and life just kicked my ass so bad that mentally I needed it. so I’ll be back with updates and warlord will be a priority this year. I will also just update based on what I feel like writing.
also since i'm committing to being on here again ig at least a little jshdks @ my moots pls don't be surprised or offended if you get a notif that i'm freshly following you cuz i deleted everything to start new
i went outside..... truly..... i feel so much more at peace djxjkxmxmxm
I need to practice gratitude and not hate/apathy. I won’t become like the people who take and take and take. Here are photos of things I’m grateful for, and a thought for the ones I can’t post for privacy reasons:
Each one of these represents more than the details contained within the frame. My childhood beach and all the memories I made there, the skylines of cities I love, my partner and I sitting by the water quietly watching turtles, the sunset on the last shift of my old job- something that saved my life and changed it for the better, a weekend spent exploring, snowfall and ice and a warm kiss, making cocktails for my family- siblings bickering, their kids playing, cherry juice stained hands kissed by a citrus zing-, a bowl of gumbo with laughing coworkers.
Even as I type this, I’ve relaxed. I feel peace. This is what matters. Fruit and family and the ocean.
