anyway uhm. bobby's 'death' forcing everyone to remember just how precious the time they're given is. to think about what's important to them in life. who's important to them. maybe making them reconsider whether 800 miles of distance bridged by a screen can ever be close enough. whether maybe it's time to forget about money troubles and blood family and just do what's right, make the choice that might make life harder but also that much more worth living. because we'll never know if our next meeting is our last. because i wouldn't survive it if the next funeral i came to visit for was yours. because whatever little time we get, it's best spent together.

if the buddie poker date is some sort of investigation thing or even a wingman situation where nobody approaches them or the one person who does assumes they're a married couple looking for a third for the night, can't wait for the joshbuck-esque conversation where they spend the whole time being like "god its like so crazy that everyone thinks we're together, like can you even imagine us dating ahaha, like how weird would that be" and then just a beat of very intense eye contact before they both clear their throats and start awkwardly looking around for anything to distract them
