I remember that there was a discourse about Virgil acting weird in A New Year of Lying to Myself in correlation to Deceit. That Virge felt uncomfortable about lying ever since then etc (putting aside the fact that it most likely wasn’t foreshadowing blah blah i just like the drama) but hear me out.

Who is especially susceptiable to Deceit’s games?

My lose angsty idea is that this song was written by Roman who was under subconscious impressing of Deceit. It makes sense. The song changed its direction under the impression of both Patton and Logan who are much resistant to Deceit’s lies.
