Ninjago au idea

The Elemental masters are like gods (basing this on Greek mythology) where the most prominent elements are the ‘Olympians’. Those being Kai, Nya, Cole, Zane, Jay, Euphrasia (wind would be important and Morro is dead), and Lloyd as the King of the Gods

The other elemental masters take the places of other gods, each with their own dominion, Skylor being the Goddess of Mimicry and Feasts, for example.

Wu and Garmadon take the place of the Titans (older than the gods and stronger), minus the eating-their-kids part.

And also: some non-elemental characters that would be cool for the au (and Morro)

Harumi being a witch who could perform resurrections

Morro being the ferryman to the Underworld who has to track down Harumi’s resurrections

Ronin claiming to be a messenger of the gods and telling people what the gods want them to do

Arin being promoted to a god (like Dionysus)
