My mom: Why haven't you done anything with your life??

I feel so out of place knowing my friends have long standing beef with other tumblr users. Like... I was friends with you even back when some of these feuds started, but I was honestly just chilling out and doing my own thing 90% of the time so I don't remember who did what or who slighted who. And now there's a couple of users who I hear talked about, but y'all censor their names and urls because you don't want them to find your post complaining about them and start shit anew. But I'm over here, and I'll see a comment like, "Yeah, I was gonna reblog X post, but it turns out it was written by j*m*n*y, so I blocked it instead." And I'm just perplexed, thinking, "Who is that? Who are we talking about? What did they do again?" I've never been involved with any real drama on this site, so I'm in a state of genuine confusion.

I was asked what my goals were this Ramadan, and the thing is I hardly ever set myself any goals. I always just tend to go with the flow and this is a very bad trait to have, when it comes to a spiritual perspective I think it’s very important that we do our best to elevate ourselves to the best of our ability. So I avoided the idea of making a big list because I felt that for me personally it was best to keep things simple. And one of my goals was to make this Ramadan different from all of the previous Ramadans that I have been blessed to experience. This Ramadan I’ve really tried my best to take the time to reflect upon the duaas that we have been told to recite by our prophet (pbuh) and I’ve just find them so beautiful. They highlight how merciful, how forgiving, how caring our Lord is. Allah wants to ease your affairs, He wants to provide for you, look after you, He wants to forgive you to wipe away your sadness and to bless you with goodness. Allah wants to cure you from whatever it is that you are going threw. In life we will have our highs and our lows and it will never be easy, but always remember that you have a Lord who cares for you and He hears your calls when others do not. This increasing fondness of making duaa just grows in my heart, because duaa is truly the weapon of the believer.
(Fortress of Muslim page 91 and onwards reflect on amazing duaas you can recite for everyday.)
its really time for me to move on. and believe in myself fully without self-doubt. also, why do I feel so old when I’m much too young? I’m not living like I could be.
its all in my head.
( I guess I’ve always felt mature and older that those I have been surrounded with )
and yes, time is just another concept.
strugglin’ to believe that I can actually deal with it
life is great, its all what I make of it. I just want change.
