One of my favorite bits from last night's game changer
If my very limited understanding of the avidmc lore™️ is correct,
Whatever that was at the end of avid's episode 7 is not him,,
I did enjoy this unintentional bit between them not gonna lie
In case anyone is wondering, half of the sbk'ers are in one of two cults at the moment
23% (6 members) are a part of the mass
27% (7 members) are a part of the grounders
Everybody else is relatively normal for now
Haven't mentioned this yet but i noticed a while ago,
Fun fact, who would you think would be an active participant in every single episode of the life series?
Grian? Martyn?
It's fucking Scott.
Grian had to AFK for the 3rd episode of Limited Life but otherwise has been in every episode (for obvious reasons).
Martyn got taken out in the 7th episode of Wild Life so he wasn't technically a player in episode 8, just a rare zombie cameo.
Everyone else has either missed entire episodes and/or seasons except for Mr Scott sMajor 1995, who, even in his lowest placing in 3rd life, still had a yellow life in the final episode and managed to stick around for about a third of that session.
I just find that fact fascinating.
Something something if i had a nickel for every time joel smallishbeans teamed up with someone in a life series with the trivia bot and it ended with joel winning the 1v1 duel between them leading to him winning the season something or other jimmy hates this meme
Feeling very inspired after "hi! :)" "hi! :D" "i missed you.." "i missed you too.." but i have far too much I'm doing right now to address that,
Making another text post cuz of things avid said last night in his stream that I was watching the vod of
Apparently it wasn't as common knowledge as I thought about the dungeon avid had been? Has been? Designing for misadventures ties directly back to sbk2's plot. I.e. the way i see things going is:
SBK2 -> Misadventures
It helps also that he's confirmed last night that marm and he have been working on the lore for sbk2 doak since before misadventures started
If you're still a bit lost, from my understanding: misadventures!avid took the only escape pod from his crew's spaceship while they were being invaded. He is the final survivor of his crew and the rest are presumably dead.
Now I'm not an expert on this, so here's where it gets fuzzy. Avid had a building stream for a new dungeon on misadventures a couple? months ago? And the main antagonist to that dungeon is a bunch of mass-like tentacles. The setting of the dungeon itself looks to be inside his original rocket in his lore.
This pretty much spoils the endgame for sbk2 doak in theory. My prediction is that avid and marm are able to get the big transporter to work for the mass, and unfortunately this leads to mass(heh) spreading Across the Universe, to the point that eventually, misadventures!avid gets caught in the crossfire and barely makes it out with his life TO the misadventures smp
I also can't tell how this may or may not tie in to other avid lore but i am,, Very excited for a month from now when the sbk2 doak finale airs, these two got big plans I'm excited to see play out
