Severus had scowled through the entirety of the service he had been forced to attend by Albus. Potter was appropriately devastated about Black's death as was the Tonks woman and her would be werewolf. For Severus' part he had been moody and silent and as soon as he was able to, he took his leave, retreating to his quarters and solitude. He had pulled a random book from his shelf and had sat in his reading chair and did something that he did not do very often. In the low lit, colder room, he flipped through the pages of the book and chuckled to himself, a smile of genuine happiness and satisfaction resting on his lips.

Aksjsjsj I was not expecting this but I'm ngl I'm laughing. I'm just surprised he went to the funeral! Unless it's to be petty since lbr Sirius would not want him there.
