I love that feeling you get when you come up with a great book idea and character. Then the plot takes shape and before you know it, you've begun making a whole world/continent/kingdom with lore and history and you have to figure out how this place would run and how you can make it real. Then you just have to figure out how to get it all down before the tempermental Muse riding your ass decides to go back to fucking sleep.
But yeah, it's one of the best feelings in the world.
