Sera was in the chapel facing the alter, eyes closed and hands folded in prayer when she heard something stir. She quickly turned around, hands falling to her side, but immediately relaxed when she saw Sir Pentious. When they apologized for the intrusion, she shook her head.
"The last time you interrupted me here, we had one of the most enlightening conversations I've partaken in for more than a thousand years." And yet, they had not talked a great deal since. This former-Sinner had done more for her than she could even put to words, and yet here she was seeking guidance from the Almighty as she always did. Not that His word was not valuable, of course, but this former Sinner was clearly a gift, she knew that now.
"Is there anything I can help you with?"
