Did I miss it or did Ollie and Flake in Ich Will had no "deformity"?

as far as i remember most of it is explained in the Making Of (cue pining for a new Making Of)

i think the deformities are not just cosmetic but serve a purpose in the story, and in the story Flake is the suicidebomber, and Olli has the target painted on his chest gettjng the military/police to aim at him...so my impression that that is their storyline which doesn't require a deformity as such 🌺

but ofcourse other theories are welcome 🌺
