Chapter 24 - Racing Heartbeats
Right about now Leo almost wishes he was taken in that fire with his mother.
He lets the thought linger in his mind, but only his mind. When the confession escaped his lips in front of Jason, it was a battle of a conversation. Leo defensively arguing that it was that big of a deal, that it was just a weird way to mourn, and Jason seeing right through his bullshit with those always-worried eyes.
