And I’ve been doing an awful lot at it. Damn, how can anyone survive this, roaming the strets without fucking going out of your mind.

“Can’t you see I’m trying to read.”
Winter Wonderland | Open
The snow fell graciously on the lawn of the courtyard, and remained pure and untouched, creating the illusion that nobody had been outside in weeks. There was a beauty to it all and Bailee watched from the door, staying in the warm comfort of the inside world. She remembered her mother telling her that each snowflake was different, like a fingerprint, no two were the exact same, and though she wasn’t quite sure what scientific evidence supported that, she felt obliged to believe her, never having been proven wrong.
As she stood near the door, she tightened her jacket around her, a slim smile appearing on her face before she nodded to herself. The snow was too incredible to miss out on, so she slipped on her gloves and pushed her way outside where the blizzard continued to come down. A large grin spread across her face and she created boot prints all the way out to the middle of the yard, surrounding herself with the bright white frost. She spun aimlessly for a moment, letting her mouth open as she looked to the sky to let flakes catch in her mouth.
Something about the winter snow always made her feel like a kid again, and though the world around her was filtered in the shade of red that her glasses held, it was still just as awe-inspiring. Bundled in her coat, Bailee stopped herself and fell on her back, into the snow, spreading her arms out to create an angel. And, she just laid there, looking up at the hazy sky, letting her own thoughts drift while enjoying the soft impact the cold held her in.
Kate heard that the cafeteria people were handing out hot chocolate with candy canes to stir and sweeten the drink. She was excited, also hearing that they made hot chocolate the old fashioned way, with warm milk, rather than powder and water, and had gone down to get herself some. But, just when the lady handed her a nice, hot mug, someone suddenly stepped right behind Kate. “Jesus christ.” She said whilst whipping her head around quickly, unable to punch or slap the person because of the hot mug in her hands.
Hello Again || Kate & Julian
Kate hates moving, especially after having to give things away, things that are important to her, things that define her, things that make her feel safe. Shaking her head, the girl pushed away the thoughts and continued tugging the sheets off of her bed. The old sheets and comforter had gotten covered in dust, when she first arrived she’d made the mistake of plopping herself onto it, only to be attacked by a large dust cloud. It was annoying, but it was about time she got some new things anyway. Maybe she could even treat herself to some new pillows, softer ones, cleaner ones, ones that didn’t remind her of the stiff things that had been in that stupid, shitty apartment she had to live in during that mission. The knock at the door made Kate jump and reach for something that wasn’t there. Feeling ridiculous, the agent ran a hand through her hair and composed herself. It was probably Clint anyway, coming to check on her, again. “Clint, go away or I swear to god I will find a way to use a spoon as a weapon.” She said to the door, turning back to the sheets she’d dropped on the floor, Kate picked them up and folded them. Only when she heard the knocking again did she give in. “Clint, I sa-” She froze after opening the door, her eyes landing on a face that definitely wasn’t Clint’s. This one was much younger, maybe tired, but still enough to make her smile. “Julian?”
Confusing Confrontations || Pietro&Kveta
Kveta knows that some people just like to have fun, in college her sister dragged her off to a few parties. But, when someone gets hurt, fun isn’t fun anymore. Then it’s, in her own personal words, just plain stupidity. One thing that Kveta hates, something that just makes her blood boil, is when someone thinks they can get away with something because of their status or positioning, because they think they can get away with it. People pulled dumb shit all the time in the FBI. So many officers believed that they could get or do whatever they want if they just flashed a badge and ID. Well, they can’t, and Kveta is always the one to show them the ‘right’ of their wrongs. Just after coming to the end of her thought process, the door she’d knocked on suddenly opened. “Pietro Maximoff? I’m Agent Kost, we need to talk.”
Sylvie & Aiden || Fly away with me
It had been a perfect idea of Aiden to return to Stark Island. That way they were still in close contact with the academy but they had all the rest they needed at the same time. Plus, Sylvie thought there was something nostalgic about returning to the place where they had first met. She had visited that exact spot just now and remembered how she had wondered about how high she could fly without setting off the alarms and he had offered to turn them off for her. Then she of course had stuttered she didn’t want to get into trouble and made this ridiculous comment about his eyes being so blue and it had actually been from that very moment she knew she had fallen in love with him. Especially after he had laughed when she had told him she could fly up to God for him. It was a nice memory that Sylvie cherished. The sun felt pleasant on her skin, she had missed the warmth that reminded her of home. But her skin was at the same time so very lily-white she needed a lot of sunscreen to protect it. She walked around in simple dresses, one with an open back that made it easy for her wings to escape. She had actually flown again for a bit! But she had noticed she would need a while to regain her full strength. But she wanted to ask Aiden to take the bandages off this evening. It was so lovely to spend time with him here. To just know he was here with her. The thought they would sleep in the same bed tonight sent butterflies down her stomach. But it also made her a little nervous, knowing she had these horrible nightmares ever since the whole horror show with Zadrian happened. She had noticed him being a little distracted though. When they had been packing he had gotten this phonecall and he had been a bit absent ever since. She hadn’t asked about it because she didn’t want to seem like she was invading his privacy, but she thought she was going to ask about it anyway now because he obviously seemed bothered by it. Sylvie had climbed on the swing that was under one of the trees while thinking about all this. She had braided flowers in her hair and her wings fluttered in their excited manner when she saw the man she loved approach. “Hey, you.” she said with a sweet smile.
“I don’t know, I suppose you’re pretty enough.” he said. “Are you still going to sit next to me or what?”
