Scripture: “You know your father and his men; they are fighters, and as fierce as a wild bear robbed of her cubs. Besides, your father is an experienced fighter; he will not spend the night with the troops. Even now, he is hidden in a cave or some other place. If he should attack your troops first, whoever hears about it will say, ‘There has been a slaughter among the troops who follow Absalom.’ Then even the bravest soldier, whose heart is like the heart of a lion, will melt with fear, for all Israel knows that your father is a fighter and that those with him are brave.” 2 Samuel 17:8-10 Observation: In this scripture I found strength. It is true, that Our Father in heaven and his fighters (us, followers of Christ) are fighters. We should be "as fierce as a wild bear robbed of her cubs" in taking care and fighting for our disciples. Nowadays, the enemy is lurking in every corner, using every beloved or closest friend that we have to destroy us or to lure us out from our focus on God. But just as the enemy is lurking and sneaking in every corner, God "your father is an experienced fighter" He will never leave us behind and He makes sure that we are not defeated against our enemies. We just have to remain under God's presence and we'll surpass everything. For it is said in the scripture " Then even the bravest soldier, whose heart is like the heart of a lion, will melt with fear, for all Israel knows that your father is a fighter and that those with him are brave" even the ugliest and strongest soldier of the enemy will melt with fear for they know that Our Father, God, is a fighter, and that those who are with him are brave. So, theres no reason to back down or slip away or give up on the middle of war, theres no turning back. We should face what we've started head on. We soldiers, we got each other. We are called. We are chosen to be in this battle because God knows we are the one's who are capable of doing it. Not your neighbor, not your seat mate, not your co-worker.. You. For God sees you, us as his mighty and strong soldiers. He knows our strength and capabilities. We are made for a special purpose. The characters, attitude, strength, and weaknesses that we have, we have them for a special reason. And that is why we are gathered because whatever our weaknesses are, is the strength of your co-soldier (co-disciple). So whatever we're facing right now, its just the enemy's way to keep us from reaching our destination or the enemy is trying so hard to conceal our true potential. 😊 Application: When I am attacked by the enemy (and it uses my family to hurt me emotionally) yes I may cry, get hurt, cry for a while.. But while crying I will never forget that this is not what God wants in my life and that if we remain to seek God's face amidst of all adversaries, Christ will lift up our burdens because He knows what were going through. Jesus knows what it feels like to be rejected by his own people, his disciples. If traydoran lang ang topic, Tinraydor si Jesus for how many times but still he has the heart to continue to push through.. He still has the heart to give, to love, to smile, to forgive, to love.. Because Jesus knows that the enemy is trying all its will to distract Jesus from fulfilling his mission/calling. If hindi mo kayang masikmura yung pinag dadaanan mo ngayon, dude, what happened to your commitment? Your praise? Your worship? Your claim in the name of Jesus? What happened to your Faith? Are you looking up to God and rely on what he can do or are you looking at yourself on what you can do? Dont fall back down. I am not falling back down. God just reveal this message to me through His Holy Spirit, and it is a very encouraging message from a Father to His mighty daughter that yes, you can do this. 😊💕 just hold on to his hand, don't let go, and trust Him on this. He got me. He got you. He got us. 😊
