As Sloane gives Mason a hug, he pulls her closer and begins to kiss her neck...

SLOANE- "Mason, are you drunk?"

MASON- "Just a little, but ever since that day you said something about us seeing one another, I can't stop thinking about you. I mean you are really beautiful, funny, and we get along great. I'd like to rethink my answer...how about we go on an actual date?"

SLOANE- "Mason! are you serious or is this just the alcohol talking?"

MASON- "I am serious Sloane. I can't get you out of my mind!"

Sloane smiles and goes to him and kisses him.

SLOANE- "So does this mean we are dating?"

MASON- "Definitely!"

Sloane decided now that school was out for the summer it was time to throw away the books and go out. She headed to the nightclub that she knew she could get in, but as she started to go inside...there he was. She was infatuated with him for sure, but he looked amazing tonight and she wanted him more than ever.

SLOANE- "Mason!!  Hello, you look amazing, how are you?"

MASON- "Sloane? Wow, you look all grown up, I am fine, a little tipsy but fine. I graduated college today. I am officially a college graduate."

SLOANE- "Wow! Congratulations, Mason That deserves a congratulatory hug."

After Dax went upstairs to bed, Reed finally spoke.

REED- "How can you be so calm about all this.  Our teenage son is going to be a father."

CAL- "Getting upset isn't going to change that fact, Reed. They made a mistake, and now want to set it right. We don't want to make a mistake by not being supportive.  Can you imagine what is going through his mind right now and how confused they both must be?"

REED- "He is only 16,  17 next week. He is still in High School!"

CAL- "Same age as you when Michaela had Leigha."

REED- "Yeah, and I don't want Dax to have to go through what I did not knowing he even had a child out there for years. You are right, I know you are, it's just so unexpected."

CAL- "Let me massage you a bit, that will help"

REED- "You know what this means don't you?"

CAL- "What's that?"

REED- We are going to be grandparents, Cal!"

CAL- "OH SHIT!! You are right, we are."

They sat and talked and recalled the day they brought the twins home and how things had changed since that day. Reed stopped to look at the photos hanging on the wall before going to bed. Life sure has a lot of unexpected events...

ALYSIA & DAXSON ~ PROM NIGHT

REED- "Okay, love happens to all of us. But, that still doesn't mean that you can run off to the bluffs and stay out until 3am not letting anyone know where you are.  You are only 16, Dax.

DAX- "I'm sorry Dad, I should have told you but if I did I knew you would say no."

REED- "So, who is the lucky person that you say you are falling in love with?"

DAX- "You don't know her, she lives in Oasis Springs. Her name is Alysia Burkett. We are going to Jr. Prom together. Dad?"

REED- "Yes?"

DAX- "We really love each other. Uh...we had sex last night."

REED- 'Well, you certainly are being honest. Okay, first of all I think you are too young to be having sex, but regardless, just tell me you took precautions."

DAX- "Precautions, you mean birth control?"

REED- "Exactly. Just remember one thing Dax. You only live once, and you have a whole life ahead of you. Enjoy this. Enjoy Alysia. All your dad and I want for you and Sloane is to be happy. So when you make decisions, like you made last night, think them through. You are bright and intelligent and if you think things through those decisions will be the right ones.  Now, let's go to bed, son."

Dax sat there for a minute thinking about what his father just said. He knew he loved Alysia and she loved him, but now he was questioning what they chose to do. The happiness and excitement was still there, but the reality was he didn't make the right decision.

Daxson left the bluffs excited and happy and made his way home. As he walked through the doors, his excitement began to wane.

REED- "So, we have you been all night?"

DAX- "I am not going to lie to you dad."

REED- "Okay, that's good.  So where have you been?"

DAX- "I was at the bluffs. I met someone there."

REED- "Go ahead, Dax. Whatever it is you can tell me, but staying out all night is not a good decision, you should have at least told someone where you were going."

DAX- "Dad, I think I am in love."

ALYSIA- "We should take a selfie, to remember this night!"

DAX- "what is it with you and selfie's? LOL"

ALYSIA- "it is getting really cold out here, cuddle with me."

DAX- "I want more than cuddles Alysia...I love you. I don't care how young we are, I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

ALYSIA- "And I you Dax. You are the only guy that makes me feel safe. I want to do this more than anything."

After Cal's conversation with Dax, he told Reed what he suspected, and why Dax was asking all the questions...

CAL- "I think Dax may be trying to understand his sexuality."

REED- "Seriously, that is what you got out of the conversation?"

CAL- "Why else would he be asking if I knew I was gay before I met you, and about you having Lee with Michaela."

REED- "It could just be curiosity, but then again you may be right. I mean it's highly likely that one of our children may be gay."

CAL- "Yeah, I know. I am just glad he feels comfortable talking to us about it. I am sure he will figure it all out."

REED- "Yes, How about we go to bed and call it a day?"

Meanwhile, Dax has snuck out of the house....

DAX- "So, Alysia you still going to meet me, I am on my way there now."
