Its so. Much. To have a "crush" on someone you're already in love with.
Someone you were very good friends with then did actually date. Someone you didnt talk to for years but never stopped thinking of. Someone you dont just have to imagine what kissing them would feel like, who was great at sex a decade ago and you know it'd be incredible now. Someone who you know their family, their traumas and losses, their dog thats older than your friendship. Someone with a million old memories, good and bad, overlaying the new while you try to discern if.
If what??? If they return the feelings? If theyre going to turn you down for good and tell you they never felt the glow you feel around them? If they know how you feel. If theyre ever going to be ready to let themselves BE in a relationship.
Its. So much. So many emotions. It feels like standing on the edge of a cliff to even think about verbally getting into them, because theres always the very real option that they say they feel NONE of it and youre just.
Lost.
Because the person who feels like home doesn't. Maybe never did. Feel the same
Had the most Nancy Drew night of my life locked in a bathroom for 6 hours when the doorknob fell off after I shut the door. Tried everything I could find in the bin to wedge the bolt, did SOS with the lights hoping someone would see, curled up like a cat on the bathmat trying to get some sleep (spoiler alert: it did not work) and at some point around 3am I realized it was St Rita’s feast day and was like well fuck
Trying to convince my boyfriend to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 with me but he’ll only do it if I watch Shrek
Heya! Dunno if yer taking requests, but I was wondering if there was a chance you could write a second part to 'Impossible Situation', the one with Takeshi 😳 (part of 2022's whumptober!)
Hi!!! 🥰
At the moment, my requests are closed. HOWEVER, I actually really loved that story and had an idea for a part 2 but I didn't know if anyone would be interested in one. So, yes! I can totally write a part 2 for that! I will probably try to fit it into the upcoming 12 Days of Whumpmas event I am participating in, but if not, I will work on it as soon as that event is over.
Thank you so, so much for your interest in the story enough to want more! It means a lot, especially since Tak gets so little love and he is one of my favorite characters to write for. I was very excited to see your ask 💖
Oh my God, guys! I just saw this German film called Styx. Most of you can’t watch it yet cause it’s pretty new, but my university has an agreement with EUFA (Eropean Film Awards) - we watch five nominated films, scoring them and at the end one of us can go to the Awards and spend 2 days there talking about films, etc. So it’s very exciting. But this is not what I want to talk about now.
This movie is not only about a very important topic (I won’t give you spoilers, don’t worry), but it’s beautifully photographed as well. The colors, the lights.... and they’re playing with the boat’s ropes creating horizontal and vertical lines with it. There are some pretty abstract angles which arises about the fact that we are on the boat in the entire movie.
It has a mentally and phisically strong female lead - she is alone in the films biggest part and the actress, Susanne Wolff handles it extremely well, not to mention the quickly turning and pretty intense emotions she has to give. The director is Wolfgang Fischer.
This story is about staying humane in an impossible situation where she obviously can’t do anything but she has to. She has to, because she’s a doctor, she’s a human, she just can’t walk away...
Styx already won eleven awards and it has five more nominations and if you see it you won’t question why. If anyone saw it and wants to discuss it, I’m here - please message me!
