Unpopular opinion but as a Bart fan primarily I am forever mad about Irey stealing Bart's costume and name. Not like I'm blaming the character, but it was a stupid decision on the part of the writer, Bart wasn't done with that role and it meant a specific thing that Irey does not represent at all.

Older Bart redesign
I forget which knee he was shot in and I didn't bother looking it up. So sorry if the knee brace is on the wrong side. I really like his costume so I kept most elements of it, just made it look a little less childish. There's also no way in hell I'm getting rid of his floofy hair!
I kind of have this idea that he goes on a quest with Tim to get both of their mentors back out of the time stream. I always thought it was weird that both of them had mentors lost in the timestream and neither of them ever really talked about it to each other or tried to team up. Basically it would be the Red Robin run but with Bart tagging along and helping out so obviously things go a little differently.
After all that is done, Bart settles down and becomes a comic book artist for the company that makes the Golden Crusader (or whatever it was called) comic books. He takes the name Mercury because at that point Max retires so he doesn't need the name anymore. Bart, obviously still has ADHD and Autism, but he chills out a bit as an adult and learns to control his anger outbursts and impulsivity.
I'll need to catch up on the Red Robin comics and the Impulse comics first, but I would definitely like to write this! Would anyone be interested in reading it?
