Server wide sick day. Once cold season gets to one hermit, they're all doomed, because they will obviously want to take care of their sick friend. And maybe they get sick in the process. And if course others would want to take care of THEM. And maaaaaybe that causes some minor problems with productivity on the server. Cue miserable sniffly block placing (that maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe looks awful and gets removed later)

Once more than half of them have fallen ill, they decide it would be easier to take care of each other if they were closer together. They find an open field not very far from the central areas and...cue the semi-accidental creation of the Sneezing District, as Etho cheerfully named it. Builds featured in the Sneezing District:

- The main hall, filled with beds and blankets and built by Etho and Xisuma, who managed to escape the sniffles due to their masks

- A thing that is theoretically supposed to be a cottage, built by Keralis, Joe, and Ren, who kept losing track of what palette they agreed on due to the congested and heavily accented mispronunciation of block names

- Several extremely wonky custom trees built by Scar, who was trying his best not to look up so the light wouldn't aggravate his headache, and thus had no idea what the final result of his efforts was

- a thing only referred to in whispers as The Project™, a disastrous ball of redstone wires assembled by Team ZIT. Nobody knows what it's meant to do, nobody knows what it actually does, but everyone is dead certain those two things are entirely different from each other

- An entirely normal automatic cobblestone generator. It functions perfectly, everything is in the right place, and nothing is wrong with it whatsoever. Mumbo is asleep under it and has not moved in a full 36 hours, despite the sounds of the tnt blasts.

- Several small craters in the ground. Not strictly a "build", but it's the only thing Doc has managed to accomplish all week, so we'll give it credit. Creeper sneezes are...not pretty.

Hi! Just wondering what exactly is a kin call? How would I request that properly?

ay! basically, a kin call (or canon call) is when you post something asking for other kind from your source! people usually put some stuff about their kin, your source (if it’s a multifandom kin blog they probably won’t want you to abbreviate your source), important memories, how to contact, opinion on doubles, and the age range you’re looking for.

for example, something you would post or put in a kin call blog’s ask box might look something like this (obviously this stuff is an example and vary heavily depending on the person):

“ hi! i’m a glamrock freddy kin from Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach and i’m looking for my other bandmates, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator, and Chica Chicken! an important memory is that i was dating Monty, and Gregory was like our son. doubles are fine to interact! preferably under 18 only! contact me at @/exampleblog if you’re interested :)) ”

some people lie, to put their kin blog as a contact source, and others like to say to like the post if youre interested and you’ll contact them.
