There isn’t a solid origins story of the Infinity Well (though some list Silver Surfer III #38, June, 1990). However, it is known that Thanos gazed into Death’s Infinity Well to learn of the soul gems (The Thanos Quest, Jim Starlin/Ron Lim). These gems came from the “elders” of the Universe (which we explain with the Infinity Gems and the Chakras). Death’s Infinity Well was able to show Thanos anything and everything he truly desired. It answered any and all questions. However, I have to stress that the Infinity Well will only respond to specific or the “right” sort of question. Seeing that Thanos desired ultimate power so clearly so he could properly “court” death. His intentions were very clear and with a lot of “passion.”

The Infinity Well is classified as an extra dimensional magical tool. You can apply your own Infinity Well at home. A ritual bath, is a special place for you to unlock your intentions to the universe. The water is a very cleansing and renewing symbol on its own. You will even find that a magical shower can do wonders. A lot of people would agree that there is something that adds to the psychic abilities when you are in water. There are many combinations and methods that can serve different intentions with ritual baths. Herbs and minerals also play a part in adding to the influence just as you would find with crystal therapy. If I am taking a soaking bath rather than a rinse bath, I like to add breathing and meditation exercises. Adding crystals also can be a fun exercise (Find more in our crystal therapy discussion).
Usually when you are applying bath ritual work, it is great to just start simple. You can grow with your combinations as you practice your ritual bath. To start, it’s great to keep it at a basic 3 ingredients. As you continue on, just make sure to keep the ingredients at odd numbers (such as 5,7,9) as with many things in rituals.
I am combining techniques of basic Hoodoo Rootwork & Umbanda, as they are the best known to conduct ritual baths. As you learn more about herbs (and what is safe to bathe with) the richness of your spells become stronger. Everyone taps into their gifts differently whether it be through chants, prayer, trance, breathe work, etc. Feel free to tune into what makes you feel most comfortable, however do give the original techniques a try!
So basically you will need a theme of these three:
-Minerals: Salt, Epsom Salt, Baking Soda, Lye, (Gunpowder though only for a “rinse” ritual)
-Herbs: Broom Straws, Cinnamon, Rue Leaves, Oak Bark, Lavender, Roses, Lemongrass, Nutmeg, Hyssop, Sugar, Eucalyptus, etc
-Liquids: Vinegar, Essential Oils, Chinese Wash, Cologne Waters (Florida Water, Rose Water, etc), Whiskey, Vodka
More About Herbs and Their Representations:
Broom Straws: spiritual cleaning of a building
Cinnamon: to draw money to the self or premises
Eucalyptus: break jinxes, drive off evil
Hyssop: cleanse person from “sin”
Lavender: love drawing
Lemongrass: spiritual cleaning of a building
Nutmeg: to bring money to self
Oak Bark: spiritual cleansing and health
Pine Needles: to remove mental negativity
Red Pepper (rinse): take of jinxes
Rose Petals: for love drawing (pink/red), white (purity, positive energy)
Rue: protection from envy from enemies
Sassafras: Money Drawing
Sugar: draw luck to the self or premises
Wahoo Root Bark: uncrossing, jinx removal
Walnuts: to fall out of love or break love obsession
Now some of the ingredients I have listed are not meant for you to soak in in the bath (such as red pepper, gunpowder, whiskey). And I will give the following combos of “rinse” ritual baths and how to apply at home. Also keep in mind that these bath ingredients can also be used as floor scrubs!
Rinse: Combine ingredients in a boiling pot (approx 2 liters). Strain with a cheese cloth. Dump the pot into a cold bucket of water. Pour over the nape of your neck down. DO NOT POUR OVER YOUR HEAD.
Umbanda Protection Bath Rinse: (preferably right before sleep)
Rue Leaves
Sea Salt
Whiskey
Tobacco
Bay Leaves
Umbanda Positive Energy Soaking Bath: (preferably in the morning)
White Roses
Sea Salt/Epsom Salt
Cinnamon
SPIRITUAL WORKER’S HEALING BATH (Hoodoo)
Bath Salts (Salt mixed with Epsom Salts), 1 handful
Vinegar, 1/2 cup
White Oak bark boiled to a strong brown tea, 1 quart
JINX-REMOVING HOUSE SCRUB (Hoodoo)
Kosher Salt, 1/4 cup
Chinese Wash, 3 tablespoons
Ammonia, 1 tablespoon
Instead of water, use herb-tea, 1 gallon, made with any or all of these
herbs: Rue, Lemon Grass, Agrimony, Eucalyptus, Pine Needles
BUSINESS AND GOOD LUCK FLOOR AND SIDEWALK WASH (Hoodoo)
Urine, first of the day, or Ammonia in like quantity
Sugar, 3 tablespoons
Cinnamon Powder, 3 tablespoons
Whiskey, 3 tablespoons (optional)
Saltpeter or Gunpowder, 1 tablespoon (optional)
Salt and Soda Bath (Add a crystal for a third ingredient or herb of your choosing):
Take a salt and soda bath once a day and your energy system will be clear and healthy.
During the day you pick up energies from different people. Majority of the time, it isn’t
coming in your way. The recipe is equal parts sea salt and baking soda (not baking
powder!). Soak in a tub getting all your body wet including the top of your body. It’s OK
to take a a shower and rinse your hair after if you desire.
Salt and Soda Shower: (Add an essential oil for your third ingredient)
You can rub the paste all over your body. The same recipe applies. Equal parts sea salt
and baking soda. Epsom salts do not work as well.
These are just some examples of great combinations that have a historical prevalence in Yoruba based religions. As for the technique, it is probably ideal conveying your intentions to something you resonate with or have a cultural familiarity to. As for myself, I was raised in the South so reciting scriptures from the Bible have a strong impact in my chants and prayers. These are some ritual prayers based off the Bible that is commonly found in Hoodoo ritual baths. When you are focusing on your intention or reaching your trance state make sure to keep in mind which direction your are pushing these ingredients in your body or home. Usually for baths bringing positive energy you will want to move it up your body towards your head. If you are using it as a floor wash make sure to start at your front door and push the energy into your home. This goes vise versa when you are using ingredients to “banish” negativity. You will want to push the ingredients down your body and push the ingredients going out of your door.
Also, keep in mind that just like the Infinity Well…It only works with the right questions/intentions! Each ingredient you are putting in and and adding with a prayer/chant/breathe meditation it increases this level of request for your own Infinity Well at home.

Clearing “Stuck Energy” with Archangel Michael

Archangel Michael comes from a very powerful order of angels. He is the one you want
to call in when you want to remove negativity, fear or need protection. All you have to do
is call his name and he will show up happily.
Another way to receive his help is when you feel that you’ve merged with someone else.
Basically you can feel their energy in you as part of your being. That means there are
chords of energy from them to you. These chords could be draining, confusing or
controlling your energy. By cutting the chords you’re taking back your power as well as
returning the person’s energy back to them.
1. Raise your hands up to the universe.
2. Ask Archangel Michael to give you his sword to cut chords.
3. You will feel him put his sword in your hand.
4. Using his sword, cut the chords in front of your body.
5. To your left hand side.
6. To your right hand side.
7. Above you, and below you.
8. Return the sword back to Archangel Michael and thank him.
9. Ask all your energy to come back to you.
10.Gather it from the front of your body, left side, right side, above and below you.
11. Send back any energy that belongs to someone else from the front of your body,
left side, right side, above and below you.
12.Thank everyone involved.
