I should probably post these boys here as well so Spooky can reblog it! I’m doing ArtFight this year so I wanted to do an inscryption character when I saw that @tasmanianstripes had their Poe and Leshy from @if-the-goat-didnt-jump​ on there! I tried my best with the log/tree texture so I hope it doesn’t look too bad.

before I get into my theories, I want to rank all of the scribes

scribe #1: Leshy - 8/10. friendly guy. sure, he took over the game, but he knows that he took it too far that time, so at least he learned his lesson! and he loves animals, is that not an admirable trait?

scribe #2: Grimora - 9/10. her fight is difficult without a difficult-to-obtain secret item, but her vibes are impeccable, and she can raise the dead, so it's pretty hard not to like her

scribe #3: Magnificus - 2/10. he tortures his pupils before letting them join his deck, calling the torture their "final exams". he ruins your cards in order to make them more "magical", with the only cards that don't get modified being mox cards. he gets one point for helping out in act 1, and one point for having a cool eye, but that's it. I hate him with a passion.

scribe #4: Poe (p03) - 7/10. arrogant, but he has a funny name, and his plan is pretty smart. plus, when he takes over, you get a 5-lane board, which is pretty cool
