What are your views on Insecticons, my king?
“They are very suspicious, and I’ve been keeping an optic out on them. Before, I didn’t mind their presence onboard the Nemesis, chittering and warbling in their native language, territorial to a fault so I kept a respectable distance. That is, until I started noticing that my space on the upper deck of the Nemesis started to accumulate trinkets that I do not recall collecting.”
He sifts through the pile and pulls out small shards of glowing energon, shiny minerals and crystals that look appealing by appearance. “Not only that but they make these little clicking sounds whenever I’m near.”
“They even try to fight in front in of me, as if I would stick around and watch their displays of strength and prowess. Are they trying to prove their superiority over a Predacon like me?”
“There was even one bold enough, an Insecticon named Scarabite, to challenge me. It was an effortless battle, but I don’t know why he seemed so cheery being tossed around and pinned down.”
Predaking appears almost frustrated at how secretive these Insecticons are being. He doesn’t connect the dots in how these behaviors come across as almost… courting in a way. Oh well.
