I'm allergic, so I didn't go in to pet her. She lives in a very high coyote-density area but she has friends on the inside.

My biggest pet peeve

And I literally mean my BIGGEST pet peeve… is people advocating for their cats to go outside. It absolutely makes me rage. Cats are terrible for the ecosystem and it’s just so irresponsible. It’s not okay to let your dog just roam free but as soon as it’s a cat so many ppl are SOOO for it

Oh yeah, ur cat is holding a knife to you threatening you because you wouldn’t let it out. Yeah ur cat is so depressed it’s not getting hurt, sick, or lost outside. It’s genuinely so frustrating.

Maybe because my first cat that I had when I was a child was an indoor/outdoor cat (not my choice, I was literally like 7/8) and he died at 7 years old because he was hit by a car. I was so distraught. And now seeing these careless ass owners not give a shit and let their cats outside just frustrates me. I hate shitty owners. I hate that this is normalized. I hate that these people are so ignorant. I want to literally SCREAM

Does anyone else's cat not understand the concept of peeing outside

I let my cat outside, and if we're outside for long enough, every time she comes back in she immediately sprints down the stairs and takes a piss, her name is Snegl and she's turning a year and one month old tomorrow.

(For clarification I monitor her every time because she doesn't run when I come to take her inside)

Meanwhile my other cat Spott, that's like 10 years old, goes outside specifically to piss and or shit. She will scream at me until I let her out, she will further scream and hiss at me if I pet her in front of the backdoor while still having happy body language??

Then she'll roll around in the dirt where she once pissed, or shit. And she completely misses sometimes when burying said shit. Motherfucker gave me pinworms.
