Instinctive Archery is one of the most individual things you can do. Yes there are the fundamentals of good solid repeatable form, but other than that, there is no real right or wrong way, only your way. I recently had a commentor tell my that I wasn’t shooting instinctively because, I was holding at full draw for longer than “he” deemed the right amount of time to be instinctive, therefore I was gapping… unfortunately we live in a world of so-called armchair experts, and the anonymity of the internet has given folks like this a voice. 
Don’t let people like this negatively influence you, Especially if you are just starting out on your Archery journey. There is a wealth of information for you out there, drink it all in and apply from it what is relevant to the way you want to shoot. remember it’s your path and no one else’s…

From an early age I struggled to fit in, I never was quite able to pigeonhole myself.
Even now in my Archery career, I struggle to find my place in the world.
I’m not really a hunter, I’m not really a tournament archer anymore. I don’t have a tragic origin story, I’m not an attractive lady, I don’t covert drama, I’m not batting adversity, I don’t really even think of myself as a YouTuber. Because of this I’ll never be a megastar, and nor would I want to be. I just have a long-standing passion for Traditional Archery, that’s been an honour to share with you! So here’s to the square pegs in round holes, here’s tho the Maverick renegades.
