I listened to Cyril’s playlist, (for the third or fourth time) and can practically hear inside Dove’s mind after Cyril says “dove” in relation to them.

I think Marcille's character arc hit home with me in ways I didn't think it would. That weird focus on time and moments/friends passing by scares me. The thought of regrets in life scare me. The thought of being seen as "old" scares me, even though I know to someone in their 50s I'm still a dumb kid probably.

Marcille's fears of people passing and leaving her alone make it impossible for her to just enjoy the little moments or guilty allowing herself actual joy. For some reason I get that same fear after hitting 30. - "Oh you can't enjoy fandoms you missed the boat and look old and weird."

- "It's silly you're enjoying something this much especially as a dude."

- "People are going to think you're some cringe loser"

A lot of those inner fears and doubts I really see in characters like Laios and Marcille but I think in Marci I connect to that self imposed shackling of happiness. Maybe I'll look back and see how stupid these thoughts were, idk

What next? will we have to take down the painting of a skeleton with their head resting on their hand, while their other hand is holding up their eyeball, and the very sweet caption of “how did you sleep”, that is place directly across from the bed, so that it is the first thing you see when you wake up?
