❛ You say that you love me but you act like you don’t. ❜ - from erin

Nothing could hurt the dark lord more than seeing his queen in pain. Distrusting him. Not believing into their love when all he did had always been for her. Of course Tommy wasn’t the best in wording his feelings, but he tried to prove it with every gesture, every sacrifice and any decision he made. Wasn’t that enough for her? Wasn’t he enough? “Erin…” Tommy sighed and raised from the chair at his desk to slowly approach her with eyes focused on hers and hands grabbing her face with determination to make sure she would look at him and hear every word. “I killed for you. And with not an inch of my body I would hesitate to do it again. I would do anything for you. What else do you want me to do to reassure you of the fact that I’m yours?” He belonged to her. From the very first day he saw her and the moment she filled the void in his chest with love and a smile that was remarkable.
“What do you want me to do? Say it and I will step out of this door and do it. Right now. Or…” His hands slipped to her waist to gently lift her and turn her around until he could place her on his desk, shoving everything aside to step between her spread legs. “Do I have to remind you in another way?” All he ever did was love her. Desperately and without limits. Tommy knew that he would never stop doing so even if it would take his last breath. “I would die for you, Erin.” He reached for the knife laying on his desk behind her, the green handle disappearing in his palm as he placed the blade against his wrist. “You could kill me in a heartbeat. You, as the only one on this damn world are able to defeat me. Do you really want that to prove my love for you?”
❛ You lied to me! You poisoned me! You told me you loved me! ❜ - from sienna

“Lied to you? Are you fucking kidding me?” He couldn’t believe this. Couldn’t believe that after everything - all the drama, all the fights, all the tears - she still believed he lied to her. Who would be crazy enough to hold onto someone in this desperate way if they wouldn’t be absolutely crazy in love with them? “You’re a lunatic, Sienna. You really are.” In disbelief he scoffed and threw his hands in the air as if he didn’t find anymore words for this. And in fact he didn’t, all he felt was the urge to smash everything apart and did it by throwing down everything from the nearby cabinet. “You think this is a lie? You really think I’m doing this for fun? Cause it’s so damn entertaining to ruin both of our minds with the poison we spill into each others veins every time we fuck? You’re just as much accountable as I am, Miss Venri. And I hate it when you invalidate my feelings.”
Love was a complicated thing. It was a battlefield he never planned fighting on. He learnt that too late when he met her cause he realized that he didn’t love anyone before. Not as raw. Not as deep. Not as motherfucking painful. His heart clenched in his chest and he couldn’t help to lean his forehead against the wall, his nails fiddling with the tapestry. “I must have been drunk when I told you I love you. I shouldn’t have done that.”
@intheirabsence plotted starter [athena/elias]
Many faces, many voices through time, a sequence of events that couldn’t be stopped or bound to be repeated, no matter if mortal beings wished for it. But could immortal ones have the luxury of being able to recall such events through their infinite lifespan? For humans, infinity wasn’t a gift given to them — it was purely fictional and, for most, not a granted wish. Though, fiction could exceed reality, contrary to popular beliefs and the limits of the mind. Visions of what seemed a life that was never lived often visited Athena, shown in dreams and even by recalling familiar places herself when she skimmed through the travel magazines to search for a vacation once she had her so desired holidays. Those places she recalled were often ancient; small towns, ancient buildings and streets with mid to no modern touch, a reminder that some places escaped the forced modern infrastructure & civilization and were able to live and preserve ancient traditions, no matter if in modern days people refused to see it. She often wondered the reason behind those visions and, in the past, falling to overthinking and obsessing over them to find out an answer. An answer she hadn’t been given. No one could.
A soft smile beamed her features, weary eyes disguising underneath it for a few moments. A doctor’s life was tough, and they witnessed many grisly situations. She checked her new patient’s pulse at the hospital as she tried to relieve him with her smile. Louis Clerigo. Man in his fifties, presumably attacked by criminals who left him in a critical state, with deep wounds close to his arteries. Though, the real cause of his attack wasn’t disclosed by him. There was also a presumption the man had underlying health problems related to his memory, given to how he kept naming her under a different name than the one she had and, upon seeing her, he got emotional.
“You’re alive. . . “ Louis spoke between heavy breathing, intense gray hues fixated on Athena. “Eva... I never thought I’d see you again.”
“Mister Clerigo, please.” A soft voice addressed him as emerald gaze fixed on the panel, showing his heart rate. Brows were knitted together, finding what was shown on the panel rare; the heart rate didn’t show any worsened levels, despite his condition. Athena believed it to be a machine calibration error, for which she kept insisting the technical department to fix it, but they were absorbed with work they had yet to do that they couldn’t fix it until the next day would come. “Don’t force yourself to speak. Focus on your breathing.”
“He. . . He will be filled with warmth his soul has long forgotten. Love he has longed for.” He sentenced. Athena’s gaze met his, a hand falling to his arm gently. “Rest. I’ll be back soon.” She left the room with a hand closing the door behind her, a sigh leaving her lips with fingers running through dark strands of hair as she made her way over to the nearest beverage machine to grab coffee. Thoughts about the man were quickly dissipated when sounds of gunshots were heard inside the hospital.
She was startled, with jaw dropping and her heart skipping a beat, while she witnessed nurses running to hide inside the staff rooms. Soon, a man of Caucasian appearance, with a face half-covered in a black bandana and dark gaze, ran over to her, pointing his gun at her. "Hello, doc. I'm looking for a patient. Thought you might be able to help."
Athena's gaze widened at the sight of the gun, and she took a step back. "I'm not allowed to give any information on the patients unless a close relative asks for it." At her response, back of the man's hand struck hard against her cheek, followed by him grabbing her by her elbow and pressing her back against him, pressing the gun to a side of her temple. "You better help, or you'll join every dead patient you've ever had."
Cont. from @intheirabsence || Matthias & Matt (x)
Matt sighed slightly, nodding his head in understanding of the explanation given for how Matthias was feeling. "Well, all of that is true. Maybe he was someone's son or father or whatever, but he made his choice the second he started to kill people. You did what you had to in order to stop him. Sometimes that involves making difficult decisions. Just know that if you hadn't done anything, a lot more people would be getting hurt. It won't make it easier, but just remember that."

“Mhm… and it pleases me to hear that.” he hushed lowly against her neck before placing a light kiss there, hands still laying on her shoulders as he slowly moved around her perfectly dressed body to stand in front of her. No one had expected him to join this festivity at Hogwarts since he had been gone for weeks without a notice, but he couldn’t deny that he awaited and hoped for such a reaction of her as he suddenly entered the big hall where everyone was dancing. The thought alone of her spending the night with someone else when he had already distanced himself on purpose every time before was simply not bearable for him and somehow it felt like his whole body was urging him to feel her just to feel himself again.
Not every wound under his festive robe was healed yet cause he didn’t even go to see Albus before he came, but in the end it didn’t even matter how marked he was. No, everything bringing him here was the endless fire burning under his skin that needed to be fueled by the oil only she could provide. There were doubts in him though, doubts he was ashamed of cause they played with his confidence, but what if she changed her mind? What if those nights they shared were long forgotten now that she had seen his mark and knew the truth? Maybe all his spells caused a permanent memory loss after all?
There was a part of him that was afraid to face her alone, therefore he approached her in here secretly from behind to prevent any form of avoiding him and as soon as his craving to touch her brought his face over her exposed shoulder where his breath brushed along her skin after mumbling her name, it was Erin who spoke these words of comfort that assured him that nothing was forgotten if he wouldn’t decide for it. “And I would recognize you under thousands, Miss Flores. You’ll always be the brightest sun in a room I long to burn myself on.” With a confident smirk he offered her his hand and stepped close enough to let her hear his whisper. “It can either be a dance in here or wherever else you wish which I offer, but you will decide.”
