Where Is Noah When You Need Him
As I drive to work in the morning I come to the conclusion there is an inverse proportion between bad weather and driving skills. It seems the harder it rains, the less skillful people drive. What’s the deal? Does bad weather mean all bets are off? Does it give people permission to drive badly? Buses like arks of humanity cut across my wake, firm in the belief that the larger vehicle has more right-of-way. Some crazy guy on a motorcycle stays afloat by constantly weaving in and out of traffic, afraid of standing still even at a red light. I have no passengers but I consider gathering the animals two by two, unsure in the knowledge whether they will fit in my Nissan.
