It’s so sad. I’m leaving for the Irish Dance Festival in a handful of days, and I’m sad rather than excited about it. I haven’t put a foot in a studio, or a gym, for two months, because of my stupid foot. My body is the worst it has ever been. I’m nearly crying everytime I happen to hear about irish dance, I don’t turn on the sound to listen to the irish dance videos on instagram or even watch them. I’m so scared to face my current level that I almost wish to never face it. And let dance disappear of my life.
Any advice from dancers who’ve experienced a similar situation?
