IRTA President says Satellite Teams have reached a new Deal with the Promoters, Factory Team lines to be blurred
It is no secret that Moto GP has entered a new era under its new ownership, and with that change comes a shift in how the series is structured. One of the biggest changes will be the removal of the distinction between factory and satellite teams.
The satellite teams and the series promoters have agreed to a new contract running until 2031. The deal not only includes increased financial support, but also a major structural update. Under the new framework, both factory and satellite outfits will simply be recognised as “teams.”
As IRTA President Lucio Cecchinello explained.
"Essentially, all the details of the new contracts between Dorna and the independent teams have been finalised. The teams have agreed and formally accepted all the details. I am very proud that all the teams have decided to continue and that we have reached an agreement with Dorna.
The rest is just a legal formality. That's true [blurring the lines of satellite and factory teams], and it's good news for us. All existing satellite teams will thus become more important."
3 teams has gone to talk with IRTA (Marc VDS, SpeedUp and Pons Racing team as far as I know) and that they had no evidence Acosta crossed the white line

No wonder this season we had so many questionable safety choices. The new member of the commission was the one responsible of the homologations. So yeah that dude is the responsable we have Portimão, a highly unsafe track, in the calendar.
