Queerness in the context of black feminism must be thought of as more than rejecting the performance and embrace of heteronormativity (i.e. ‘being straight’). Rather, queerness should be viewed as an unwillingness or, perhaps even a glorious failure, to conform to both the dictates of white normativity (skin color, body shape, phenotype) and the politics of respectability rooted in contemporary black Protestantism...

For Nora- 5. How their parents met. :)
It was the classic love story between two Dalish elves. Her parents grew up together in the same clan. They were about the same age. Always together and causing mischief. Being a headache for the keeper. Her mother’s name was Isoke. She was a mage and second to the keeper. Her father, Alagan, was a rouge who was quick and sharp with his bow. He had always admired Isoke and she returned his favor. Their keeper always thought that she should focus more on her abilities and leave the trouble maker alone. There was something about Alagan that she couldn’t resist. They often left camp together for several days at a time together just so it could be just them, alone, with their love for each other. Isoke became with child. The process was hard on her. She did not survive Nora’s birth. Needless to say Alagan was destroyed. He loved his daughter so. However, he became reckless. He no longer cared if he lived or died. He often went hunting alone.. Which was not the brightest thing he could do. The last time Nora saw her father, he had his bow on his shoulder, as he normally did when he went to hunt. He kissed her on her forehead and told her how much he loved her and how much her mother loved her. As he was hunting, he came across humans. This did not bode well, for they murdered the elf in cold blood. Simply because he was elven.
SO YEA! there’s some back story for ya haha. I didn’t mean to get carried away but oh well haha.
Do you ever see a girl and think "wow she's pretty" but not in a coy cutesy way but more like a woman warrior queen of tribe asswhoop who could steal a mans heart and sacrifice the rest of him to the sun gods.
