Architecture: Top 5 cities/countries you want to visit?

I’m most likely studying in Bologna, Italy next semester, but I really want to visit Sicily because that’s where my family is from. Also Paris, New Zealand, Tokyo, and Germany.

Music: What are some of your favorite lyrics? 

This question is surprisingly hard and there are definitely far more lyrics that I absolutely love and cannot think of right now, but here’s a few. There’s a line I really love in Nicole Zefanya’s “Little Souls.” Now all we ever do is vomit apathy we mop it with apologies, I’m sorry. And I really love everything ever written by Maisie Peters; her lyrics are incredible, but there’s a line in Spring Clean that kills me that goes I’d call it a spring clean but nothing has grown since you left. And I’ve been obsessed with dodie since 2013, and all of her lyrics are incredible. And in caught in the middle by Paramore, the opening lyric I can’t think of getting old, it just makes me want to die, and I can’t think of who I was, it only makes me want to cry gets me every time.

i keep thinking about how camilla saying "love is long and life is short" is a reference to the latin saying "ars longa vita brevis" which somewhat translates to "art is long, life is short" which generally has two interpretations: 1. art is a skill and the time it takes to "master" it eclipses a human lifetime and 2. an artists' art is a legacy that will outlive their lifespan and like. the choice for this particular saying is so crazy to me!!!!!

camilla and palamedes relationship is years of hard work, drafts outlining a piece, splotches of paint and vivid strokes of colour and a canvas that was torn apart and stitched back together painstakingly, obssessively, lovingly (and in pal's case, literally). but if you're an artist, you know that sometimes the only way to save a piece is to completely delete it, and start over.

this is why camilla and palamedes burn. paul is the accumulation of all that skill, time, and effort. paul is their magnum opus, and their legacy.
