The whole point is that the author of the books is improving on his own work. He is allowed to change things. It is HIS world.

You want something accurate to a book? Write a book yourself and then create a show about it.

So many people hating on this show, you do not have to like it. But it is NOT the bane of your existence.

Watching G1 Transformers "Desertion of the Dinobots" Part 1

HAHA Soundwave and co snuck into Ironhide's trunk haha . I like the nickname ironhide gives Ravage here. "Savage Ravage" is surprisingly clever

And immediately Megs and Screamer start bickering about what to do. Yup this is on point for G1.

Screamer surprisingly makes Megs look somewhat reasonable by comparison in this ep. They get attacked with rock music. This ep is really goofy so far.

Bee is hanging with Spike and Carly at the fairgrounds huh. And she just - messes with him so he'll enjoy it more? Is he like the awkward third wheel on their dates or did Carly bag them both?

Ah, there's the dinobots. Was wondering when they'd turn up in the episode named after them.

Grimlock just bit Megs on the ass and threw him through a window. Huh. Weeird image.

And Megs surprisingly has some strategy here so. Not being a complete yutz as usual. Actually blows them across.

Feel kinda bad for the bots as they reminisce about Cybertron. Why exactly are they still on earth? I mean I know the Cons have the space bridge but. Still.

Oh wow all the Cons are getting sick or something and acting weird lol this should result in some quality comedy.

And it actually does make sense in context, because they're like...drunk and stupid so of course Screamer says something stupid. I mean it's still funny but - it's not as dumb as everyone thinks it is.

And everyone is now space drunk off of malnutrition and somehow Screamer misses OP firing Megs at point blank range, Megs is dancing, and it's weird and nonsensical and wonderful

Basically an excuse so the humans can do something for once. But I love seeing everyone malnourished drunk. Shockwave cameo too!

And Carly and Spike get to go to Cybertron! I'm really excited to see more of her. She's awesome in this ep.
