Sorry if this is a silly question but what exactly does nightmares negativity aura thingy do to people to make it so the only person he can work with is Killer?

#dreamtale asks#walk with me here#if Dream's aura in the limited time he spends with people#can make them overload with positivity fall in love with him and become obsessive#and Nightmare's aura is 20 times more powerful in the opposite direction#what do we THINK it does to people#it is DISABLING#it is UNBEARABLE#one does not work ALONGSIDE Nightmare#the only exception I will make to this rule is Killer's Determination destroying all ability to feel emotions#And it will do that when he becomes too negativr#which is automatic in Nightmare's presence#I also headcanon his aura will decrease somewhat when he breaks himself apart#that way he can interact with people a little easier#but Nightmare at full power would corrupt you fully#which is also another possibility besides kill themselves#corrupt negative entity unable to feel positivity ever again#that's what he does
