hi i’m going to rant for a little bit ok i’m v annoyed because i was talking with a close friend of mine and she said she got a ton of stuff from sephora over the holidays (which is great!!). her grandmother had given her all the skincare stuff, though, so she was a little insulted. one of my other friends, whom i absolutely adore, asked her, “do you wear makeup?” the girl replied, “oh, i don’t!” and then she paused. “lauren does” and shot me a nasty look. of course, i didn’t hear her so she repeated it with an edge to her voice. and i’m very mad because i get to decide what i want for me and nobody should be shaming me for it. girls shaming girls (anyone shaming anyone) is wrong. No matter the subject - whether it be over powder on someone’s face, the clothes they wear, etc.
