something that makes me sad abt the way the internet works now is that sometimes queer ppl will come up with silly and light-hearted jokes abt other queer ppl and point out common patterns that they see, in like a loving way. like how ppl will sometimes tease their friends or siblings, it's intended to be silly and harmless. i don't necessarily always like those kinds of jokes, but i don't think they have any bad intent, esp considering the people making them are often lightly poking fun at themselves if anything. but then inevitably cishet people end up seeing those jokes and are like "haha yeah weird queers are fucking hilarious and stupid" and start parroting them and warping them until it isn't a joke anymore and just loops back around to being regular transphobia/homophobia

#the whole ''nonbinary ppl having weird names'' joke started out like this #it went from being like ''i love it when nonbinary people call themselves sock or something'' to #''when you say there are only 2 genders and the weird ugly fat person with blue hair named sock gets mad at you 🤣 ''#it's sad.

"that's medication for me to mind my own business. you should take two." it's the way that i can fully imagine young van being so quick and witty if they said this and really making the two sentences feel full and complete with a little extended neck at whoever they would say it to but van as an adult has a weariness to their quick wit that just makes it sound so deadpan. because hear me out .. it isn't like tai didn't deserve that even if it is the most fair question that she asks during her lil stay in my opinion but i think about how lottie, who only sees van for a couple of hours before saying: "you used to be so full of life and now it's like something has broken within you" and she didn't even witness what i would believe is probably one of the most telling moments (if not THE most telling moment) of this we see from van in the adult timeline. 2021 van looks like van and walks like van and has all the repartee of van but it's all broken and smashed to pieces.

Is it a possibility,,, that if you draw chubby pet,, that you could give them stretchmarks? If you're uncomfy with that it's okay!! I just never see them on moderately chubby characters and think it would be Neat™
