Klinger/Margaret for ship bingo

so, i rewatched s10e12 "the birthday girls" to see if that influenced my opinion and tbh. i'm very sorry but margaret calls him an "arabian aardvark" and that really took me from "neutral" to "ughhhhhh" there's also another "klinger wants to get rich quick" subplot in this.. overtly racist episodes of MASH...

but tbh i actually really love the episode, it's one of the favourites in the late seasons and we should talk about the klinger-margaret A plot more because it is very unique.

my thoughts on this ship are, margaret deserves someone who would treat her right, and klinger would treat her right, but klinger... deserves better than margaret...

i hadn't actually ever thought about them at all until i got this ask, and i do appreciate thinking about rarepairs because i often discover something new about characters i love when they're in some more unconventional ships.

so with klinger and margaret like... this is a bit contentious but, i think she should've said "i hope i find someone like you" to Klinger in GFA and I have thoughts as to why that goes to BJ instead, that I will expand upon at a later date.

the thing that stands between margaret and klinger is the fact that klinger would never be considered an option for her. not by margaret, not by the show's creators. so tbh, i appreciate that you put them forward for consideration.

Thus far I've been working on Signal Hill in a template, with the plan to make my own UI later once I'd fleshed out the mechanics. I realized I was at a point where continuing any further was just going to result in making all sorts of styling that was going to need to be changed later, so I've started work on the custom UI.

I'm going with a bit of a skeuomorphic design. I honestly can't tell right now if this looks cool or stupid. We'll see!
