I decided on a design for Dream! (I'm still not happy, I want his hair to be fluffier-)

He wears a cloak, shoes and gloves when fighting Nightmare to avoid getting burnt/melty!

I thought he should have more weapons the older and more experienced he gets. The staff and bow were first, he eventually could summon swords, and then a spear. He rarely uses his quiver because he can summon arrows instantaneously, but when going into somewhat negative AUs, it's more difficult to produce them on the spot so he stocks up!

Gore warning!

He can get pretty severe burns from nightmare, the longer he touches him, but thanks to healing magic, they heal up ok.

honestly never been more frustrated googling something in a long time... trying to remember the name of the guy who drew really beautiful sketches of men in suits- I think he had a particularly notable art school graduation portrait? - i think American and 1950/60s? and the men in the sketches are generally tall and slender I think. anyway all google is giving me is crappy pinterest stuff 🙄🙄🙄

Tldr;

A true ally consuming mlm content would not align with the word fujoshi.

It has a root in being homophobic, and allies don’t get to reclaim it because it’s the /mlm/ part that is being called nasty. Allies can choose to consume or not consume the content. Mlm have to live it, because it’s our identity.

Consume whatever content you want, but don’t try and use the ”identity” of fujoshi as something you can reclaim, because the oppression is on mlm, not non-mlm whom are just (choosing) to consume the content.

I have no issues with anyone consuming mlm content, but maybe don’t use the word fujo because it doesn’t hurt or shame you, it shames you for consuming ”shameful” content. Mlm get plenty of homophobic messages, we don’t need you upholding this one.

So that’s why I actively consider a ”fujo” different from a woman who consumes mlm content.
