1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing love and lust?
No. He knows the difference. He does deny his love quite a bit and dismiss it however.
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this healthy?
DTF and good looking. And no. He would benefit greatly from a steady hand at his side.
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
Yes, and, no. His heart has been broken by his family, but never romantically.
8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
He has a pretty 'creative' relationship himself with Sada. They've been in an unofficial open marriage for years, so I'd say that's about as open as you can get.
10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised by their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
He sure does. And no. He just likes woman.
12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognize this? Or would they be too much in denial?
He can admit he loves Sada and shows it in his own ways. And she knows him well enough to see it. Same as with Jesse and Bee like they were his kids. And as they get to know him, they'll learn the signs too. He isn't a very conversationalist when it comes to his emotions, so talking about things like that is definitely not going to be top of his list on ways to express his love for someone.
1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing love and lust?
No. Not at all. He feels each one deeply, but he knows there's a clear difference.
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this healthy?
Autumn. Loyalty. Someone who's got their head on their shoulders. Cute. Not afraid to do dirty work around the ranch. Someone who wants kids. Someone who is okay with a minimal life. He doesn't want a gold digger who wants a flashy life. Someone who can cook. Lady in the streets, but a freak in the sheets. He just wants someone to share a family with on the ranch to keep the Reynolds tradition alive.
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
Yes. No. And that's all he'll say on the matter.
8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
Yes. While it doesn't bother him one way or another what anyone else does behind closed doors, it ain't for him. He is a one woman man.
10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised be their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
He does. He likes country, wholesome girls with a little spunk. He likes to have fun and live, just not alone. But they all definitely have a certain look about them. And it would surprise him if he ended up with someone who wasn't like that.
12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognize this? Or would they be too much in denial?
Holden is very accepting of being in love. He has never been ashamed to admit he feels. He just doesn't show his emotions. But when he loves, he loves deep. He is also very romantic and knows how to pull all the right strings.
1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing love and lust?
A little bit, I think. He definitely has more experience dealing with lust, so I think that is where the confusion lies. Where does one end and the other begin? He would definitely take a while to realized he was in love love.
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this healthy?
Stamina. Oscar is a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so someone adventurous. Loyalty. Understanding. Family values must be important to them. Friendliness. Intelligence. Trusting. Compassionate. They gotta be a good cook because he can only BBQ or microwave. Just a good woman.
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
He has. Twice. When his mother passed away, then when his fiancée followed. As much as he can, yes.
8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised be their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
See number three and it would most definitely, one hundred percent surprise him if he didn't end up with a woman like that.
12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognize this? Or would they be too much in denial?
Oscar is slow to love thanks to his career, but when he does, he fully recognizes it. He is a very caring and connected partner, but due to work can also be very absent, so he does his best to make every moment together count.
1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing love and lust?
No. He has only ever loved once in his lief, and it is such a definite difference that there is no question of what it is he feels.
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this healthy?
Blue eyes. Brown hair. 6'. Singer. Smart. Handsome. Caring. Cat parent. Someone who likes to read and can do a mean tuck-in when you're drunk. It'd also be great if they owned a big farm house filled with memories and a few classic cars out in the garage. Um, what else? Oh! An affinity for Chucks. I know it's pretty specific, but what can I say? The man knows what he wants.
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
Yes. Right after high school and he healed as much as he could from that over the years. But now he can truly say, yes, he has recovered.
8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
Monogamous. He barely knows about his own sexuality to know there's anything else.
10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised be their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
Refer to answer three. Yes, he would die from shock actually.
12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognize this? Or would they be too much in denial?
He recognizes it. He's had years to admit to himself already. And now that he's said it aloud, all bets are off. Vincent may always be the friend zoned guy, which he is fine with because there also a lot of casual benefits that come along with friendships like that a single guy would be stupid not to take advantage of, but he is a romantic at heart.
1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing love and lust?
No. Her lust is too raunchy to be mistaken for the softness of love.
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this healthy?
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
Yes. She had an extremely toxic ex. He just took off and ghosted her after four years. (That's a story for another kind of meme. Lol.) She has most definitely recovered. She loves Zach fully.
8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
I think under the right circumstances, she could be open to other arrangements.
10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised be their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognize this? Or would they be too much in denial?
Acts of service and gifts. A hundred percent. She draws him all the time. She sketches out the little spurts of ideas he has for his games when he excitedly spouts off - although those are a lot more graphic. She cooks for him. She lets him win sometimes at Mortal Kombat. Despite her clothing options more along the lines of Eric, she always makes a concerted effort to wear something of color just to have Zach with her, even if it's something as small as funky socks. Fun competitions out of anything. Gaming together. Date nights. Time alone. She just makes sure Zach has everything he needs to be as happy as possible becuase she loves to see him smile.
