I haven't written anything in so long so I thought an update would be good! Still going to university, which is way better than being stuck in the military (especially with current events). I got approved for ketamine treatment, and now I am waiting for the VA to get all the insurance stuff figured out, so there's that. Zelda is loving Minnesota way more than we expected, and she's been having better naps where her grumbles and sighs of contention make me laugh. I haven't forgotten about whump, but I had to take a detour for mental health reasons. Always happy to have those people in my server and in my DMs here keeping me company. Big shout out to:

Oh shit my bad for not seeing this sooner?!?!??! I've been dealing with summer semester courses that are accelerated lmao. So I've been busy shoving 15 weeks worth of material in under 8 weeks while still doing double the assignments. I'm definitely surviving, to say the least. Haven't had a suicide attempt in a hot minute, so I can call that a win in my book! Been trying to have a better outlook on things. Been writing a fuck ton and following a sort of regiment with all my medications. Ketamine therapy has been a life saver. Thank you for asking!!! I love you <3

I'M FUCKING FREE!!!!!!!!!

Finally got the damn paper to show I'm officially out of the military, and the first thing I did was yeet most of my military clothes and gear into the garbage. My first act as a non government drone is to sleep in and drink all the coffee I want while writing some heinous things. Besides packing up to move out of Tex-ASS, I'm enjoying my 'retirement'!

Finally a TRUE Adult!!!

Turning 25 is a milestone for me, and I'm more shocked that I even survived long enough to get here. I'm gonna try to fix my life a little more and pursue the things I've been dreaming of since I was younger. I'm grateful for so many good friends and people in the Whump community for sticking by me through the rough years while I was Active Duty. I'll make a more nicer list of people, so no one feels left out. I love you all, and I hope to give you guys more whump soon enough!

Favorite animal is a German Shepherd. They are so derpy and cute!!! Like my baby girl Zelda.

She has an ottoman at the window she watches out of to spy on the local fauna and neighbors. Protector of all that is good in my little Minnesota apartment.

My favorite flower... I love snap dragons because I make them go *nom* by squeezing the right spot on them.

Favorite color is basically blue, but I like something darker and more... vibrant? I think there's a color called Singing the Blues? I used that to paint my basement back when I lived in Omaha, Nebraska.

Favorite song right now is To the Wilder by Woodkid. It just slaps so hard. Here ya go!

Favorite bird is the Minnesota loon? I don't know exactly why... okay maybe I do.

Yeah, it's been a long time, but now that I am kind of getting over some internal frustrations with my writing and acclimating to a normal life, I wanted to look at all my asks and even get back into writing again. Heya!!!

I am starting school on September 2nd, so I am really nervous about the whole enterprise and how it will go for me. I hope I am smart enough for college, since I was stuck being a military gal for 6 years. I have always dreamt of going to school so I can help people, and I am finally gonna make this happen!

I am a big part of the warhammer 40k fandom now thanks to my husband. I really am in love with Titus and how much he reminds me of my OC Bruno (The episode from Secret Level is SOOOOO GOOD)

My favorite movie at the moment is The Wild Robot by Dreamworks. It's so funny and beautifully done.

As far as books, I haven't found anything that I am really into, but I did buy Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir for my husband, and he is loving it!

I have been enjoying being out in nature or in my office/cafe. If I could go anywhere, it would be Uppsala, Sweden. It's magnificent and gorgeous, and I am planning on making Swedish my 5th language!
