All you had ever wanted was to be queen. You were regal in both looks and etiquette, you had studied every queen both before and after Aegon’s conquest. You were perfect for it, and though you had to go about it through certain means, you had won. You were engaged to Jace, a future king. Not your first choice but perhaps the best choice.
He had started as a means to and end and yet he seemed perfect. He was a gentleman, sweet and kind. Made sure you were happy and for the first time in your life you truly felt seen and that you truly had a friend. Not one of the vipers of the red keep vying for a boost in status.
Though you supposed you were doing what others had long done to you. Using him for position, security. But it quickly developed into something real.
You had always been kind, charitable. The perfect image of a queen. Just as you had studied. You would be the perfect queen and with you now on side with the blacks your mother and Ottos plot was deteriorating but so was your cunning.
You no longer felt the need to plot your every move, no longer carefully thought of your words before you spoke. You were relaxing and for the first time you truly felt like your own person and not the pawn your mother made you or the one you made yourself.
You were laughing without care for the first time in your life and all because of Jace.
He was always with you, his hands always on your waist, your leg or thigh. Always holding you too him. As if scared to let you go in case you may slip away from his reach.
Your betrothal had been announced, and the wedding planning started instantly. The twisted truth of a planned match since childhood working well to both family’s advantage. And to ease any suspicion or rumours. Though with the anger of their would be betrothed, you both had expected some suspicion or rumour to fly.
Baela had sent scalding gazes your way the past weeks, there was no lost feelings between her and Jace but you imagined she mourned what you converted. The crown.
But you had won more than that. Jace was more than you expected.
The letters you had exchanged from years apart had showed a kind gentlemen, eager to please and to do everything necessary to become a respectable and perfect prince.
And though knowing him in person showed little difference from that man you new in words, he was kind, sweet and a perfect gentleman. And with you by his side the perfect king.
One thing you hadn’t expected was his instable hunger.
His mouth feasted on your cunt like a man starved. You were on fire, your body filled with unending pleasure as his tongue dove into your cunt. Licking, tasting and overwhelming all of your senses.
Your hand gripped his hair like a lifeline, moans slipping from your lips and his tongue slipped in and out your hot cunt.
your orgasm swept over you hard and fast, taking all energy out of you as you slumped back on the garden bench. Jace slowly removing himself from underneath your dress, not before placing a soft kiss to your legs, as he moved from kneeling to sitting by your feet. your hand still half wrapped around his hair as you began to sort the mess your pulling of it had done.
“it’s a surprise no one has caught us” you spoke playing softly with Jace’s hair still.
He turned to you then a grin on his face “perhaps I want to get caught” he mused moving to separate your legs and placing a kiss on your lips.
You laughed softly “us getting caught is the very reason we marry on the morrow”.
Kissing you once more before he spoke “and perhaps if we are caught, they may let us marry today”
You pushed him back playfully “only weeks ago you were betrothed to another” Jace groaned “and I was simply writing letters to my nephew and dreaming of marrying anyone but Jason Lannister”.
“Anyone?” Jace tilted his head “I thought you dreamt of marrying me” his voice was teasing, long gone was the nervous Jace who stuttered at the very sight of you. Though her was perpetually blushing in your presence and the puppy eyes never faded from his face.
“Perhaps you were a means to an end” you teased, though feeling of guilt rushed through you as you remembered the real reason you had first started your plan of seduction with him.
He titled his head, moving to sit beside you and pulling him into your lap “perhaps, but either way I won”.
“won?”
“you sit here in my lap, my hand between your thighs and my name on your lips…do you really think this isn’t what I wanted all along” he spoke, his hand lifting your dress once more as his fingers edged closer and closer to where his tongue had been only moment ago.
“oh so you had a plan?” you tease, trying to hold back your moan as his finger slowly slips inside you.
“and you didn’t?” Jace muses, nibbling at your neck.
A smile graced your lips, slighty uneasy as you realised you were as much of a fool as you first made him.
Your plan had been simple, lure him into bed. Get caught and get married. And after tomorrow you would have done everything but received the title you always converted. But that would take time.
But his was long and far more genius than yours.
Jaceaerys Velaryon knew three defiant things from a young age. One was that he would one day be king, the second was that he was a bastard. The third was that he would marry you.
There were no doubts in his mind and though you had ignored him his entire childhood and only ever shown interest in him through gossip or rumours, he knew one day you would be his queen.
He had watched you obsess over every queen, how you knew what made a good one or a bad one. How you always planned everything to appear queenly and regal, from the way you dressed to how you talked and acted. You were given titles to show your charity and only ever began to show him attention when you realised, he was your best bet at becoming one.
He knew the second he saw your face greeting his and his family’s arrival what your plan was, to have him and he wanted to have you. He had loved you his whole life, dreamt of this plan for six years and though he never would of guessed what you had instore, he didn’t care as long as he got to have you.
There were slight obstacles in the way, but you were as clever as you were cunning and knew how to get exactly how to get what you wanted.
You had focused your attention on him the whole night and just when he thought he had a chance to enchant you, you had left. Snuck out of the room unnoticed and causing Jace’s plan to slip through his fingers.
He had sulked all the way to his chambers, kicking the door as he entered only worrying to look up when he heard your angelic laugh.
That night was a literal dream come true for Jace and being caught not only excited him but made you, his bride.
His plan to woo you had originally been different, he planned to court you like a gentlemen be a true friend to you, unlike your stiff ladies maids who whispered behind your back and would turn on you for any chance to gain an advantage to their station. To convince you to run away and elope and after that their families could say or do nothing. They’d be wed and bed and she his future queen.
He had manged to enchant you, made you love him as he loved you, as he dreamt of for years, and here he stood watching you walk down the aisle of the sept. your arm linked with your fathers and a blushful smile on your face.
You had never blushed until him, had always been perfect and composed.
He had only blushed around you. Been a fool, your fool and now you were as much as a fool for him as he was for you.
“Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger.” You both said in unison. “I am his/hers and s/he is mine. From this day, until the end of my days,"
Your eyes never leaving the other Jace spoke, "With this kiss, I pledge my love" the kiss was filled with as much passion as the hundreds of others they had shared before. There love and devotion for one another of full display.
The wedding feast was a blur of wine, kisses, and dancing and before they knew it the happy couple was running through the halls of the red keep towards their now joint chambers.
The door to your chambers slammed shut with a loud thud.
Your breaths were heavy as you looked at one another.
With Jace leaning against the door and you sat on the bed. His eyes were on you like you were prey. A sharp difference from the first time. He hunted you down with his eyes, prowling forward ever so slowly.
He undressed slowly, his eyes on you as his clothes slowly fell to the floor.
Then he pounced. Ripping your dress from your body, he moved forward pulling you into a heated kiss. A moan instantly leaving your lips as he pulled you towards him, his hands gripping your waist and his hard cock rubbed against your cunt .
His mouth moved from your mouth to your neck as he moved you to his lap, his hands moving you atop his cock.
He didn’t enter you, not yet, just teased you as he pressed kisses to your neck, sucking on your neck, making sure he left a mark.
You were his now and forever and he wanted everyone to see the evidence of your love.
Moans fell from your neck as he kissed down to your breast, placing soft kisses to your nipples.
“please” you begged, pulling his face up to yours.
“please what?” he asked, placing soft kisses on your jaw.
“Fuck me” you begged.
Pushing you back onto the bed, his leg pushing your thighs apart as he lent over you, kissing your lips once before he entered you.
“Gods” he moaned, his hands gripping your waist.
His mouth took yours in a heated kiss as he moved. Your legs wrapping around his waist as he set the pace.
His face buried in your neck as he thrusted into you. His breaths fast and hot as he kissed the love marks he had left earlier. Moving to cradle you to him his face grew faster as he began to pound into you, your peaks fast approaching.
Clenching around him as you came, his name a scream as your peak washed over you, yours a loud groan as he filled you with his seed.
He collapsed fully on you, his breath hot as he held you to him.
He didn’t remove himself from you, instead letting his seed find purchase in your cunt, and hoping to fill your belly.
“I love you, Jace” you whispered in his ear.
“I love you” he said kissing you softly your name like a prayer on his lips.

It’s been a year and a half since Rhaenyra had claimed King’s Landing, a year and a half since your baby was born, almost three years since you were taken to Dragonstone. The realm was collapsing with corpses of both team green and team black being propped up as if they were men in a dinner party, the entire west coast of the continent was being attacked by Iron Islanders claiming new ‘salt wives’, and a man rallying the people of King’s Landing against the royals. The man rallying the people was doing it in the name of the seven, if you were a lesser woman you would have joined them in their crusade. The dinner party for corpses were called ‘butcher’s balls’ for how they replicated the dining halls of a lord's dinner party. Your husband had informed you that one of these ‘butcher’s balls’ were used by the winter wolves to ambush the Hightower army, when Ser Criston Cole had demanded a fair combat they refused and killed him, not giving him a chance to defend himself against so many men. The Hightower army that was with Cole was crushed then and there. There was no news as to your uncle Gwayne’s fate leaving you to believe that he was still alive. You prayed every night for the kind man who you had grown up beside, who had helped guide you as a child. No way that Daemon Targaryen would not gloat in your family member's death. Hopefully Gwayne did survive, maybe to be used as a bargaining chip against your father or maybe he had escaped and would be joining your father’s army. Either option meant you didn’t have another person you loved dead. Maybe he experienced a quick death with no suffering, maybe his death had been so unbecoming they hid the truth of it. Either way you prayed for your family member’s life and his soul. You prayed and prayed for him, spending more time in the Great Sept than you did anywhere else in King’s Landing.
Aemond was in Harrenhal with Vhagar, it was unclear what his plan was from there on besides just burning the Riverlands. Aegon was declared dead with Sunfyre being killed in Rook’s Rest. Lord Larys Strong was missing with no one having heard from him since Aegon’s disappearance. You had heard nothing of Lord Lannister and what he had done with the gold of the crown’s coffers, most likely taking it with him when he ran from the red keep. Ormund and Daeron were on the way to Tumbleton, what the small place could do to aid the war you were unsure but who were you to say your father was wrong? All of the allies of your house were gone, you were alone. You were stranded without an ally. There was nothing you could do in this war, the Hightowers had lost, your family would be executed for betraying the crown, with you being a part of them.
—
“HAVE THEY NOT BETRAYED THEIR QUEEN?!”
You were standing outside the door, listening to Rhaenyra as she raged. You weren’t sure who she was talking about but you had a feeling it was those dragonseeds you no longer saw in the halls of the Red Keep. They were supposed to meet your father at Tumbleton, moving to destroy the last of the Hightower army. They had run away, you weren’t sure where to or why, you just knew they were gone. It did give you some hope for your father and his army, they wouldn’t have to face two dragon riders on adult dragons compared to Daeron’s barely teenage dragon. If Rhaenyra was raging over them then they were defecting against her, meaning that your father had a chance to live. That realization brought comfort that you didn’t know you needed. As you listen to Rhaenyra you could hear her dissolving, lashing out at everyone who stood around her. She trusted no one, not even her family or those who have proven themselves to her, which didn’t bode well for you.
You heard of Lord Corlys Velaryon’s betrayal, of him warning his bastard son of Rhaenyra’s growing distrust of those around her. The man had mounted his dragon, Seasmoke. The bastard rode your husband’s father’s dragon, deeply ironic with Jace’s admission of him being a bastard as well. The man had taken off not long after the reveal, causing Rhaenyra to imprison the lord of the tides in the dungeons of the Red Keep. The fate of lord Velaryon made you worry even more for yourself, if anyone found out the truth of what you’d been doing of the information you were sharing with your family you would surely meet a much more gruesome fate. But you had given Rhaenyra her only grandchild, she wouldn’t take out this anger on you, would she? You would have to figure out a way to ensure your safety, no matter what.
—
On top of all of that, you were gaining weight. You felt terrible, sick and bloated all the time. Anything you ate would eventually come back up, making you feel even weaker and worse than before. Your boobs had been sore as well, Aemma was no longer nursing so you weren’t sure what was causing the sensitivity. Jace was worried about you, constantly being beside you or checking on you whenever you moved not wanting any pain to hit you again. You could hear whispers in the halls, the wife of the prince had one child and let herself go or that the death of your family was catching up with you making you become sick in the realization that you would be next to die. Some thought you were faking it simply to get the prince’s attention away from the war and only on you, if only, then you would actually be able to eat something.
You were in the gardens with Helaena, her daughter, your daughter, and Alicent. Helaena and her daughter were inspecting the flowers of the garden, giggling to each other whenever a bug would crawl out of them. You sat away from them on your own cushioned seat, your stomach had calmed slightly but was still turning making you not want to eat anything the servants brought out for you. Aemma was standing in front of you, she was able to walk a few steps on her own and call out a simple “mama!” It made you so happy when she first said it, crying knowing you were your daughter’s first words, you were the one to help her take her first steps, you were a part of her first everything. You had a bard brought out with your posse who was playing songs for the kids that didn’t include the feats of war or some sex story. Aemma was bouncing up and down where she stood giggling, her hands practically in her mouth while she did so. You pulled her hands away but she would just laugh and bring them back up making you sigh and let her be, she was teething so there was no reason to attempt to stop her. As you pulled away to relax back into your cushion another cramp caused you to double over with a gasp. Aemma flipped around to you, watching you with wide eyes. You gave her a pained smile as you said, “I’m okay babygirl, I’m okay.” She babbled a continuous stream of “mamamamama” while taking a few stumbling steps towards you. You opened one arm to her while keeping the other one around your midsection where the pain was radiating out of. She fell into your arm, having you collect her up into your chest.
Helaena joined you on your blanket seemingly having enough of exploring what the courtyard had to offer. She looked at you concerned as you were panting slightly trying to force yourself through the pain. Aemma curled into your neck, still gnawing on her hand as Helaena leaned over you, her eyes focused on your stomach. “Theres a bear, she birthed two babes. One lives and is taken from her by hunters,” you looked at her confused, she said a few different riddles in your years knowing her but this was the first directed towards you.
“A-a bear? Am I the bear? Or am I the hunter?”
Her eyes were glazed over, it seemed she couldn’t hear a word you said to her. Two babes? Only one of them lives? Hunters? You could feel the fear course through you after hearing what she said. You collected Aemma into both arms before standing, making your way back inside back into the safety of your apartments. Raina was waiting for you inside, turning to you surprised as you usually would come back to your apartments much later. She could see the worry painting your face as you thought about what Helaena had said, about the riddle she had whispered to you. Raina quickly moved, taking Aemma out of your arms, letting you fall into a fainting couch. Another bout of cramps overtook you, making you bend over putting pressure on your womb. It was similar to the pain of your bloods but worse, it was unrelenting and hadn't left you for almost a month now.
You could feel Raina and Agatha’s eyes on you across the room, looking at you worriedly as you attempted to reduce your pain. Kyra was beside you, rubbing your back until you motioned her to bring you a bucket. You expelled the little you had been able to eat today, you couldn’t even pull your body up back to the chair you had been in. Kyra had tears in her eyes watching you, begging you silently to let her help in some way. You nodded to her without looking at her, telling her to go get a maester to help you. She quickly stood before sprinting off.
Aemma was watching you from across the room, a whimper coming from her before crying started playing through the room. Your whole body hurts; your tits are sore, your womb aching, your throat burning after throwing up, your head squeezing, your eyes tearing up, and your cheeks burning with tears that had flowed over. You’d never felt this way before it was terrible. You sat on the floor with the bucket between your legs for ease of access. Hearing your daughter cry you reached out wanting to bring her to your chest and protect her against the pain of the world. Raina brought it over to you letting you hold your baby which seemed to actually reduce your pain in a way. You hushed her whispering sweet words to her until her crying stopped. She relaxed into you, finding comfort in your arms. You put your forehead to hers smiling at your little girl, showering her in love. Soon after Kyra came back into the room the old maester stumbled in behind her. The old man smiled at you as Kyra took Aemma from your arms, letting the man fully inspect you. He tried to make you some milk of the poppy but you refused hating the way the stuff made your brain foggy and your body lucid. The old man poked and prodded you making you feel even sicker, at one point he pressed on your stomach making you fight back a gag. The old man looked at you pulling away from your body, he said so simply,
“you are pregnant, your grace”
Another wave of nausea overtook you, making you lean away and throw up again. Pregnant. pregnant. pregnant. Another baby, another pawn. The maester seemingly unimpressed said “I will inform the queen and the prince right away.” That made you shoot up from where you were resting, standing in front of the man you shouted “No!” That simple word made the air grow thick with tension, everyone waiting for what you said next. You took in a battered breath before saying, “I-I will tell my husband the good news…If-if I could be alone for a moment.” Everyone in the room nodded, bowing slightly. Raina was still holding Aemma and was about to walk out when you pulled the girl from her hands, holding your daughter close as you paced the room. You could feel the maids eyes as they left, looking at you with pity and sympathy. One babe barely a year after the other, when Aemma was born your anxiety had skyrocketed but you had loved the girl with your whole heart even after finding out you were pregnant. This time it seemed the darkness of your mind had crept in, sadness seeping into your bones as you thought about the life you were carrying. Aemma put her hands on your face, slapping her little hands against your cheeks making you look down at her again. The sight of your little girl made you smile, she was sweet, she was good. She reminded you of the little boy you had met who had rode his dragon through the halls of the keep, beaming at you when he heard you were marrying his cousin. Little Jaehaerys wasn’t here anymore, he was snuffed out far too young; but his sister Jaehaera was still here, as well as his new little brother Maelor. You gathered yourself, and what little you needed to for Aemma, before beginning the trek to Alicent and Helaena’s apartments. You heard rumors of Alicent offering her daughter a way to get rid of the babe when they first learned of it, maybe she could do the same for you. Before you could make the way there the door to your room swung open, halting your plans.
—
Jace was stressed enough, with Aemond and Daeron still being at large he had to worry about two other dragons one of which was already experienced in battle. He needed something, he needed his wife to help calm him. As he rounded the corner to where his chambers were he found your maids, the people you trusted most in the world, standing outside looking quite worried. The sight of them brought concern to him, was his wife okay? Why were her closest Allies not by your side? Where was your daughter? Was everyone okay?
“My prince!”
The youngest of your maids called out, Jace couldn’t remember the name of any of your maids for the life of him. He remembered them as old, middle, and young; not the greatest way but it got the job done. All three of them turned to look at the man, the worry painting their faces. His brain was running a mile a minute, worry for his wife and daughter was the only thing that mattered. He quickly opened the door and rushed inside. He found you beginning to ready yourself to leave the room, you paused seeing your husband. He looked at you with soft eyes before asking you, “what’s wrong my love? Why are those maids outside? What-“ he took in your face, tear streaked cheeks and a shaking bottom lip. His hands come up to cradle your face, wanting to bring you any comfort he could. You sniffled, Aemma being held between your two bodies, she reached up and grabbed her father’s collar pulling at it. You laughed slightly seeing her as she brought the fabric to her mouth drooling over your husband. Jace’s eyes were only focused on your face, ignoring as the spit covered his neck. “Talk to me, wife. I will remedy what ever is harming you.”
You sniffed again before burying your face in the opposite side of his neck from where Aemma had began gnawing. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in close. He turned towards you kissing the side of your head as you worked through your emotions in his arms. Aemma was babbling, drawing his attention back to her, even with his wife crying into his neck his daughter never failed to make him happy. You finally calmed, your hand gripping the back of his coat roughly as you whispered to him,
“I…I’m pregnant.”
You stood with tears in your eyes; another baby, another player in this game, another life on the line. Jace took in your words before a smile split his face, he quickly moved Aemma out of your arms putting her in her cradle before rushing back to you. He quickly moved forward wrapping his arms around your hips heaving you up. He was laughing, twirling the two of you around, happy to hear he would have another child soon. “If we have another girl we shall name her Visenya! My mother will be so excited!” You couldn’t find it in yourself to even pretend to be happy, terrified for what’s coming, terrified for the prophecy that Helaena had muttered at you. You didn’t tell him what his aunt had said, not wanting to upset him. You pulled away from him still crying slightly, he smiled at you asking, “why are you sad my love? This is amazing news! Aemma will have a sibling, the kingdom another protector, another dragon rider.”
Those two words made you nauseous, pulling away from your husband to expel the little you had been able to stomach. He watched before moving to be by your side, holding your hair from your face and rubbing your back. He whispered sweet nothings in the common tongue and Valyarian, trying to comfort you. You finally pulled back, wiping your mouth as you turn to your husband, embarrassed at him seeing you like this. He smiled sadly at you, whispering “I will be here with you for all of this my love.” You whimper before shaking your head, your tears coming out again as you say, “I do not want this baby, it will be another life that will be risked in this war! Please, moon tea will remedy this, we can be a family of just you, me and Aemma.”
Jace’s face turned hard at your admission, he grew rigid against you. He swallowed harshly before sitting back on his heels, whispering to you, “no, I refuse.”
You look at him wide eyed as he stands, moving away from you. Before you could call out to him to beg for him to see reason he snapped at you, “you wish to take my child before I can even see them?! It could be a future king! You will not take my child from me!” His voice cracked at the end, you could see tears starting to form in his eyes. “See reason husband, this babe is trying to kill me. I can keep no food down, my entire body is sore, I can barely walk; this baby does not want to be born!”
“How can you know that?! This child is my-our legacy!”
You stood facing away from him, you whispered a soft, “get out” Jace watched you confused, hoping that he didn’t hear you correctly that you didn’t tell him to leave. Before he could question you you turned and snapped at him, “GET OUT!” Jace flinched ready to yell back at you when the door to the room opened. Your maid, the middle aged one entered the room, she was glaring at the prince. Jace watched as she crossed the room towards you, collecting you into her arms letting you sob into her neck like he had earlier. He was an invader into your space, watching as the two other maids came to you. Jace turned, making his way out of the room to find his mother needing advice on how to handle his wife not wanting to have his baby.
—
You found yourself rushing to Alicent’s apartments, needing her opinion on how to handle the situation. You had heard rumors that Alicent had offered to help Helaena get rid of her youngest, Maelor. The baby was sweet and always smiled at you when you held him, the idea that the baby might not have been here did fill you with sadness. You sat on a couch in the apartments, your leg bouncing anxiously and your fingers picking at the skin around your nails til they bled as you began explaining the situation to the woman sitting across from you.
“It is early enough in the pregnancy, we could play this as a simple miscarriage.” You whisper to Alicent, afraid that the walls would hear you and tell someone your plan. Alicent looked at you with a sadness that you couldn’t describe. While she will admit she never wanted to be a mother herself, she couldn’t refuse your pleas seeing you as one of her own in the time you’ve been with her in the Keep. Her hands came to your upper arms, rubbing up and down them in an attempt to soothe you. Alicent whispers back to you,
“I will do what I can, you will not suffer this alone.” That made you let out a shaky breath nodding to her. Alicent brought you the comfort that you missed since your mother’s death, since your separation from your father. Alicent was a life raft that you didn’t know you needed. She stood beginning to make her way out of the room to find the solution to your problem leaving you and your daughter with Helaena and her son. Aemma and Maelor were playing happily together on the floor between you and the white haired woman sitting across from you. She was needling together a piece of a spider on a web, a bug in the web. You felt like you were the bug stuck in this web trying to free yourself to no avail. You turned away from the woman to watch the babies playing together where they sat on the floor, Zephyrax resting next to your feet near Aemma.
Alicent came back with a small pot of steaming liquid, she handed it to you instructing you to drink it all and that there might be some bleeding afterwards. You held the pot twisting it in your hands, Helaena seemed to be ignoring the two of you focused only on her needlework. You worked up the courage before squeezing your nose shut with one hand, swallowing all of the liquid after. It was a bitter disgusting thing, making you gag even worse than the morning sickness already did. You slapped your hand over your mouth, not allowing yourself to get rid of the drink. You struggled to swallow it, the liquid thick and coating your entire throat on the way down, you coughed a few times before handing the pot back to Alicent for her to dispose of. She smiled at you, rubbing your back as you took in the consequences of your actions. If Rhaenyra found out you purposefully induced a miscarriage she could have your head, Daemon was looking for any reason to kill you after all.
—
On the other side of the Keep Jace was explaining to his mother and his step father what had happened between you two. “She wishes to get rid of it! The babe hasn't had a chance and she wants to strike it down!” Rhaenyra watched her son pace the room, she rubbed her forehead annoyed at the whole situation. Daemon on the hand was smirking, saying to Jace, “she is your wife, if you say she has the babe she will.” Rhaenyra didn't say anything to either party but she did shake her head slightly, agreeing with her husband's take. Daemon continued, “another babe will prove to those green bastards that she has left them entirely. One child is expected of a married couple, but two? That will say she has abandoned them and their cause entirely.”
That made Jace pause. That was probably why you were struggling so much, you didn't want to disappoint your father or the rest of your family.
—
Your belly was still growing, it's been five months since you found out about the pregnancy. Five months since you took the moon tea Alicent gave you. Five months since you had bled like you were having your time, Jace being incredibly disappointed at the sight of the blood staining your bed. You could feel his anger and sadness coming off of him in waves, the distance between the two of you growing with it. But as your belly grew Jace became even more confused, “I thought you lost the babe, how is your stomach still growing?” his hand came out stroking your stomach. It was obvious from a glance you were pregnant, far larger than you had been while with Aemma. The size of you made you both angry and confused, what was the point of that disgusting tea if it didn’t get rid of the baby? What was the point of the blood and cramps if it did not remove the problem? Your hand came under your stomach rubbing at it as well. Your eyebrows scrunched together as you said to your husband, “I-I don’t know. Maybe I didn’t lose the baby.” He sat on the couch, you still stood in front of you, he ran his hand down his face before saying to you, “be truthful, did you cause the blood?”
You looked at him in fear, tears beginning to form in your eyes. You slowly sunk to the floor between his legs, looking up at your husband with a wavering expression, “I-please forgive me husband. I was terrified, I-I will be a bad mother. I can hardly handle Aemma, another babe and I will…I will not be myself. I am losing myself to this!”Jace’s hand came up to caress your face, wiping off the tears that were beginning to fall. He smiled sadly at you whispering,
“You are a fantastic mother, how can you think otherwise? The baby that is growing in you will love you more than you will ever know, and you it. Please my love, do not give up, I will not be able to be without you.” you whimpered before nodding, leaning into the comfort of your husband’s body. You were too tired to fight anymore, too lost. Jace kept his hand on your head, stroking your hair trying to comfort you. But it wasn’t enough, it never would be, not while this child grew.
—
You were near the end of your pregnancy, barely able to walk with how swollen your ankles were and how sick you felt. You were often lost in thought, being found staring out the windows of your apartment still as a portrait. Jace tried to connect with you during this; holding your hand, bringing you food and helping to feed you, helping your maids to bathe you, helping to dress you in the morning and undress at night. It seemed that nothing he did seemed to pull you back to him. He entered his apartments finding you sitting near the window, watching the world pass by. He came to sit beside you, taking your hand from your lap and holding it in his. His eyes watched every twitch of your face, you had been cramping throughout the entire pregnancy but this past month they seemed to be getting worse.
A part of Jace knew you would never forgive him for making you carry this child, this baby that would be rejected by its mother the second it was out of your womb. And by extension you would hate Jace too. The only one he could see you relying on was Aemma but she was still too small, too young, to be burdened with the world. Aemma was just two and a half, her biggest issues were her toys and if she liked her dinner; not if her mother and father were arguing or if the realm was collapsing around them. And while Jace would like to think he’s kept your condition on the down low, he had to admit Aemma was smart enough to know something was wrong with her mother. She couldn’t explain what or why but she knew something was wrong. You would deny everyone else entrance to your chambers, except your sweet daughter. The only time Jace had seen you smile since you had told him of your attempted abortion, the only time you had smiled during that time period being at your sweet girl. You only seemed happy when she was around otherwise you were a blank slate or crying. You were a shell of your former self, something that broke Jace.
Jace sat with you, your hand in his hands, him rubbing his thumb soothingly across your knuckles. His eyes searched your face as he asked, “my love? How are you feeling today? Do you-do you need anything? I will have the chefs make it post haste.” Your face twitched hearing his voice, you softly said back your voice sounding incredibly weak, “the…the baby” his eyes grew wide, moving closer, placing his hand over your stomach. “What is it? Is the babe okay? Ar-are you okay?” He saw the tears swelling in your eyes as you finally turned to look at him, even while crying you were ethereal. Your hand shot to your stomach as you winced, your breath coming out in tight pants as you said to him, “the baby is coming.”
—
You denied him. You denied your husband’s support as your labors started, the familiar pattern of pacing taking over your body as you tried to work through the pain. Jace had quickly called for midwives, maesters, and maids to be brought to help you. The large number of people in the room makes it even more suffocating. You wanted to be alone, to handle this like you did with Aemma, but you had little fight left letting the midwives take over helping you, them pushing away your maids to get to you. He could see the fear in your eyes watching as these new people, people you’ve never met people you don’t trust, moved in closer to control your body.
You suffered quietly, it was so different from your first labor. You might have been in a foreign space when your only allies were three women who you came to see as family. They had protected you before and after the labors. They had soothed you throughout the pain, telling you jokes and singing to distract you. They knew when and where you were okay to be touched especially as the pain was racking your body.
Now there were so many people, people you didn’t trust, people who didn’t care about you. People who cared only for the thing in your stomach and not the person who housed it. You tried to ask for only your maids but the others moved faster, taking space before yours could. It was so…scary. You could feel the tears burn your eyes, your throat burning as you attempted to cry out, get anyone to pay attention to you as a person and not an incubator. Raina could see your fear as you succumbed to the pain, crying out, almost falling over if not for her strong arm. You look up at her with wide teary eyes, if you were alone you would have called her ‘mom’ something you had done on bad nights far too often. You quickly leaned into her, sighing out at the feeling of the comfort of the older woman’s body. You whimpered into her neck saying a quiet, “I’m scared” for only her to hear. She shushed you maternally, not wanting the vultures in the rooms to latch onto your fear.
The labor lasted almost an entire day, you losing your energy by the end of it. Thankfully Agatha and Raina had pushed their ways to be beside you during the actual birth holding your hands and keeping you as grounded as you could be during this. Even still they could see you were giving up, you had no fight left especially not for a baby you didn’t want. They had tried to get you excited for the baby like they did for Aemma, asking you what you would name it and what gender you wanted. You would avoid the questions every time instead of responding like you did with Aemma. The two older women were on the sides of your bed, blocking anyone else from getting closer to you while also comforting you through it, guiding your breaths as they came out in quick pants to then longer deeper breaths.
As your labors were getting closer and closer to the end, Jace came to join the room. He wasn’t allowed in much farther than the entrance before your youngest maid and a maester’s assistant blocked him, reminding him that you needed to be alone. Another scream broke through the room dragging your maid’s attention away as she worried over her lady. Jace used the opportunity to move past the blockade to where you were laid on the bed. He came up beside you, moving the hair from your face, the sweat making it stick to your skin. You looked up at him with soft scared eyes, it was so unlike you. His pretty wife who burned with the green fire of the High Tower with the bite of a dragon, now you looked so small so domesticated. Jace felt guilt surge through him; he was the one who clipped your wings, he dimmed your fire, tore down your tower. A young squire burst into the room looking for the prince, “my prince! News from Tumbleton!” Jace began to move closer, not wanting to stress you even more while talking about war. Before he could step away you shouted out, “no! If it is news of my father tell me now! I deserve to know!” Jace looked at you, the fear and anger swimming in your eyes. He turned towards the young squire nodding telling him to share what news he brought. The boy stuttered out, “Lo-lord ormund Hightower has been killed, my prince.” You went silent before a scream tore from your throat, a scream of emotional and physical pain. Your father was gone-killed by your husband’s family over a stupid chair.
Before you could yell at Jace or the squire the scream of the baby tore through the room, everyone seemed to relax to hear the baby cry meaning it was alright. The maester wrapped the crying baby in a cloth, covering some of the blood so it would not get on anything. The maester turned away from where you laid on the bed, leaving you to the midwives as he brought the baby to Jace. The old man mumbled out, “congratulations, my prince. You have a son.”
Jace swore the world ended and began again then. His son, his sweet baby boy, was born. The realization of what you said also sunk in, this baby could be used against you, be another pawn in this sick game for a throne. Jace made a silent promise that day; a promise to protect his family, especially the one he was making with you. Jace studied the baby’s face, still slightly red from his screaming fit. The baby boy’s head was covered in some hair, a copy of yours with streaks of white as well. The coloring of a true Targaryen. Jace smiled down as his son, his heir, whispered the babe’s name to just him, “welcome home, Lucerys.”
A moan of pain coming from you brought his attention back to you, the remaining part of the birthing process taking place. At least that’s what everyone assumed until instead of a placenta falling out, a mangled body of a baby was between your legs. Everyone paused seeing the little thing; it was half the size of the baby in Jace’s arms, the thing was covered in blood making it even more horrific to look at, the skull was elongated but too small at the same time, the limbs mangled together. The sight of the thing made a few of the midwives move away, one even needing to throw up as the sight upset her stomach so much. The maester quickly had the babe wrapped in cloth, none of it being visible as he put it in a carrier near the door, the carrier was supposed to be used for the placenta afterwards but it seemed it would be a part of a funeral instead now.
Jace brought his son over to you, asking you quietly, “my love, do you wish to hold him? He is as beautiful as you are.” Your eyes were unfocused staring up at the ceiling even still you shook your head no to his question. When Aemma was born you had demanded to hold her before anyone else, now with Lucerys you were the opposite not even wanting to look at the boy. Jace felt his heart break, taking a seat on the edge of the bed, “please love, at least look at him.” You finally pried your eyes from the ceiling to your husband, he was looking at you with sad concern eyes while yours were still blank. You finally opened your mouth saying to your husband, “take it away.” Jace’s eyes widened, he assumed once the babe was born you would love him not refuse him. Jace nodded slightly carrying his son out of the room to the council room, wanting to let you recover without prying eyes. He removed everyone but the maester and your personal maids from the room, letting you relax.
—
A wet nurse was currently holding Lucerys as he ate, his first nursing and it was already so different from his sister’s. Jace wanted to show Aemma her new little brother but the girl had heard her mothers screams, making the poor two year old stressed, crying out to get to her mother. Your maid Raina came and collected the girl once you were washed and able to rest after your labors. The woman seemed to ignore Jace and the wet nurse, and by extension his son, focusing only on the little girl and getting her to her mother’s side.
While he was wallowing in his melancholy, his mother found him smiling at the bundle held in the nurse's arms. Rhaenyra moved her hand down Jace’s head, smoothing down the ruffled hair house there. He looked up into his mother’s eyes from where he sat, his eyes filling with tears as he had the nurse bring over the baby for his mother to see. Rhaenyra always had a soft spot for children, maybe from how quickly she was forced to grow up, seeing the boy swaddled in the blanket made something in her glow like never before. Another reason to keep fighting, another reason to claim her birth right. She leaned down pressing a kiss to the baby’s head before softly asking her son what the babe’s name was, to which Jace responded back softly, “Lucerys.”
Rhaenyra looked at her son with a watery smile, whispering a hello to the sleeping babe. Jace could see his mother was trying to distract herself, trying to ignore what was happening in the Realm. She could feel his eyes on her; Jace was her first born, her heir, he knew her the best out of everyone in the castle save maybe Alicent, Jace knew when she was lying to him. Rhaenyra kept her head down looking at the baby and the slight white hairs he had before saying to Jace, “Daemon wishes to fly for Harrenhal, he’s to face Aemond.”
“A fight that will end in certain death,” Jace said back, understanding why his mother wouldn’t want to tell him about it. Daemon was leading himself and his dragon to suicide, leaving Kings landing even more unguarded. The only full grown dragons still protecting them would be Syrax, Vermax, and Moondancer; Jace needed to get back into the war, he needed to start protecting his family again.
Jace had Lucerys sleep in the nursery for the night, wanting to check on you and how you were recovering after the lengthy labor. The room was dark with the only light being from the moon through the window, but with that light he could see you curled up in bed with your daughter held in your arms. Aemma was sprayed out in your arms, attempting to take up as much space as possible, her dark curls being spread around the bed around her head. Her dragon was waiting on the pillow near her, awake and watching Jace as he came closer, letting out a soft sigh. Two of the most important people in Jace’s life are here in his room, asleep in his bed, waiting for him to return. He had to protect you all, even at the cost of his own life.
—
Waking up to your daughter giggling while Kyra entertained her but attempted to keep her quiet. Zephyrax was sitting next to your baby making happy noises and watching as Kyra entertained her. The only thing that reminded you of the baby you just had was the pain radiating through your body when you tried to pull yourself to be seated upright. Aemma turned to you quickly shouting out a quick, “mama!” before climbing over to be on top of you. She was so good, so sweet. You pulled her up to be on your chest smiling widely, “Good morning little princess! Did you like sleeping in mama’s bed last night?”
She giggled happily at you, Kyra taking a seat on the other side of the bed, soothing down Aemma’s hair that had gotten messed up during the night. Hearing that you were awake, Raina walked over bringing you some tea which you were more than happy for. She moved the hair in your face away, smiling down at you, “you did good, my brave girl.” your eyes welled up again, Aemma looking confused stringing words together that don’t exactly fit. Kyra quickly picked the little girl up, despite her protests, bringing the baby to sit in her lap as she began braiding the child’s hair to distract her from your sadness and Raina gathered you into her arms. She was the closest thing to a mother you had in King’s Landing, this room being your safe haven. Well it was your safe haven until the doors to the room were thrust open, Daemon and two of his Gold Cloaks beside him. The fear of dying in childbirth was nothing compared to the fear of dying at the hands of the deranged Targaryen man stood across the room. His hand was resting on the pommel of his sword staring you down where you sat in bed, no one dared to move except for the little dragon who came to the end of the bed, spread her wings out, and hissed at the man. If it wasn’t with the possibility of you dying you would have laughed, or said ‘dracarys’ but that wasn’t an option in this moment. Daemon scoffed at the little hatchling before his eyes moved to your daughter then to you, “where is the heir?” Raina stood to full height, ready to protect you even at the cost of her own life. Your hand shot out grabbing onto hers, looking at Daemon definitely, “Jacaerys took it-him last night, I have not seen the babe since.”
He flexed his jaw at that, his eyes leaving yours to focus on your daughter. You didn’t care for the baby you just had, but your first born? You would definitely kill Daemon over your baby girl. He brought his eyes down to the little dragon then back to you, “the girl has no silver hair?” you shook your head no, terrified that he was planning something like marrying off your daughter to his youngest son who was around five. Daemon scoffed before motioning for his men to leave, him staying behind for a moment to say, “if the boy claims a dragon…” he didn't need to finish. If your son claimed a dragon and moved his children down the line of succession he would have no qualms about taking you and your babies with you. He quickly made his way out after finishing his little sentence, knowing that you understood his point clearly. Once he was, Raina turned back to you, moving some of the loose hair away from your face. You gave a tight smile to the woman before turning back to your daughter, who seemed happy now that the scary man was gone.
It seemed your room was a hot spot today as the doors were opened again with two new figures finding their way inside. Your husband marched in with a purpose, carrying the bundle housing your new child. Behind him Rhaenyra comes in close, happy to see you looking well and your daughter looking healthy. She wanted to join the women surrounding you and caring for you and your daughter, you looked so happy and so loved.
Jace didn’t seem phased by the women who were not happy to see him, the only one who was happy to see him was your daughter who giggled out a “Dada!” as he came closer. Jace smiled at her, “hello, Kesrio paŋi, did you sleep well?” The girl giggled at her father making you soften, he came close to you kissing you quickly, you hadn’t kissed him in awhile this one being a surprise. He smiled at you, helping lay the baby in your lap. You looked down at the squirming thing, unsure of what to do. This baby was so different from your first, you weren’t sure what to do with it. You felt no connection, no pull to this little one, and he seemed to agree as he began to cry loudly. Aemma frowned from Kyra’s lap saying, “Make it stop!” which you agreed with. Raina scooped the baby up, bouncing and shushing it as Aemma quickly climbed into your lap looking at the loud creature who confused her. She looked up at you, again with a hand in her mouth, asking you “what’s that?” You weren’t sure how to respond, physically that’s your son but mentally you had no connection to it at all. Jace looked at the girl confused, “he is your brother, sweet thing.” Her little face crumbled in confusion as she looked at him, Raina leaning down so she could see the baby better. “He’s ugly. Take him back.” You snorted at that, covering your mouth to hide your smile. Jace watched your face, it was the first time he’d seen you actually smile in awhile. Even if the smile came at the expense of your son he couldn’t help but admire it.
“Babygirl, he’s your brother, he's not going anywhere. He’s here forever.” Jace said with a smile, trying to get the little girl on board with the new addition to the family. Aemma turned towards Rhaenyra who was happy to see her granddaughter, the girl crawled across the bed and held her arms up for her to be picked up which Rhaenyra was more than happy to do for her. The little girl wrapped her arms around the woman’s neck with Rhaenyra’s arms scooped under the girl’s bottom. “Do you remember me, talanna? I’m your muñāzma!” Aemma pulled a face, forming the words in her mouth unsure of how to say it, making Rhaenyra laugh. The little girl had a way of lighting up a room and bringing joy to everyone around her. Rhaenyra was so happy to have a granddaughter she wanted nothing more than to do whatever the little girl wanted, making her quite spoiled already at two years old.
The baby in Raina’s arms whimpered, the maid turned to you silently asking if you wanted to hold him. You looked scared but gave a slight nod, letting her lay the baby in your arms. You bounced him slightly watching his face, the baby grimaced before relaxing back into your warmth. This baby didn’t feel like you in the way Aemma did, this baby felt like another person’s child who they just put into your arms. You could feel the eyes of those around you, besides Aemma and Rhaenyra who were focusing on each other. It seemed that your room was the pseudo meeting room as soon after Alicent and Helaena walked in, holding honey cakes for you which made your stomach growl in a way you hadn’t felt throughout the pregnancy. Aemma turned towards the new women, calling out to Alicent, “gramma!”
You didn’t have it in your heart to correct her, and it seemed Alicent needed to her the little girl’s affection for her. Alicent smiled at your daughter before her eyes shot to Rhaenyra still holding her, gave a strained smile to her childhood friend. Alicent came closer, placing a kiss on Aemma’s cheek before moving past them towards you, asking you, “how are you, dear girl?”
You gave a strained smile to her saying, “very sore and hungry, thank you for the cakes.” She laid the plate beside you on the bed before you lifted the baby from your arms letting her pick him up. She beamed down at the baby, bouncing him while mumbling sweet nothings. She looked over to you, “what have you named him?” Jace answered for you, “Lucerys, I wish to honor my brother.” Alicent looked at him for a moment before her eyes went back to yours, looking to see how the response from your husband to you. Alicent opened her mouth to say something, possibly to praise the name or the Targaryens but you cut her off.
“Has there been word from my brother?”
Alicent paused before shaking her head with a sad look, he was probably still reeling from your father’s untimely death and him being lifted up to being Lord Hightower. You frowned looking back to your lap, your nails scratching into the skin around your nails, slight bits of blood seeping through the skin. Jace moved, placing his hand over yours, stopping you from the continued destruction. You look up at him, your eyes beginning to water. He leaned forward kissing your forehead with a whisper of, “it will be okay, my love”
—
“He looks like me.”
You were so quiet, your eyes not leaving the little baby swaddled in a black and red blanket. His face was practically a replica of your own with your hair covering his head with streaks of white being present. Jace walked up behind you, wrapping his arm around your waist pulling you back into his chest. Your body relaxed into his in a way he had missed during your time separated, your hand came up to his rubbing your thumb soothingly across his knuckles. Jace responded quietly, “he does, my own little Hightower.” You chuckled but your body tensed again, whispering to Jace, “I’m scared…and tired. Tired of the inheritance crisis, dragons, thrones of swords; I long for Old Town, I believe Aemma and…Lucerys would thrive there. When-when this war is over, will you let me return home? I wish for them to know my childhood, I wish for my brothers and sister may know my children and that Meredyth could be a part of their lives. She is like a sister to me.” Jace hummed, his body was tired, his mind exhausted. He buried his head into your neck, mumbling “once the war is over we can do whatever you like.”
“If you win this war you will be the heir, the next king. This baby would be your heir. If you wish for him to be your heir we need to be smart with how we handle this, have him bathed in the light of the seven, bring the faith of the seven into the scene so that the people will see the Targaryens are not so separate.” Your eyes didn’t leave the little boy as your free hand moved forward, lightly caressing the boy’s face.
Jace laughed slightly, “the boy cannot hold his head up and you are already scheming how to get him on the throne.” You turned to look at him, a glare and pout on your face. Jace flinched slightly mumbling an apology into your shoulder. You look back at the baby before saying to the man behind you, “Daemon threatened me today.” He tensed his arms tightening around you, “what did he say?” You hummed, leaning your body back into his even more. “He made it clear that if Lucerys claimed a dragon that Luke, me, and Aemma will not be alive long. I believe he’s worried of his sons’ status.” Jace sighed saying, “do not worry about him, Daemon flies to Harrenhal to face Aemond. Neither will survive the clash.”
You nodded, your hand coming up to the necklace you wore. The seven point star that Ser Otto had gifted you all those years ago, you frowned in thought looking at the baby still as you said to Jace. “My father is dead, Lyonel will be lord of Old Town now. He will bend the knee, he does not have the heart for war.”
“Good, I do not wish to kill any more of your family.”
You sighed and agreed with him, turning to finally embrace him fully. He kissed your forehead as he wrapped his arms around you, humming a soft song to you. You let yourself relax, even just for a minute before the world would collapse around you again.

Part 1 -> Part 2
{Request: I have a request! Aemond is send across the narrow sea to be the sworn sword/knight of a (verryy beautiful) princess from a noble house is esso’s. As punishment what he did to lucerys
Thanks for reading dear 💙}
To say that Prince Aemond was grumpy was an euphemism.
He was rigid, stoic, and rude.
But your father loved him.
You couldn’t understand why, not after his most recent kill: his little nephew.
You remembered meeting Luke Velaryon once, he was a nice, gentle, kind boy.
His brother Jace was just the same.
Princess Rhaenyra had been invited as a guest at your father’s name day feast with her family, and you remembered spending a nice afternoon with her sons.
You actually kept contact with her youngest child, Jace. You two sometimes sent letters to each other, talking of your days apart.
You would have never said it outloud, but you had a weakness for the boy’s dark, beautiful hair.
But he was promised to her cousin Baela.
As soon as you heard the news, you thought he would have stopped sending you letters, but he didn't, and you almost cried of joy when the next letter came.
Then, your father sided with the greens.
He sided with rude, dangerous people, and named the worst of them as your sworn sword.
When he told you about his choice you begged him, you cried, you did everything you could to try to change his mind but it was all to no avail.
Now, all the other Ladies never sat with you, they were afraid to speak with you, all because of some dark, evil, scary person standing behind you, following every step you took.
It was so obvious how much he hated being a night, yet, he stood his role perfectly.
Aemond was always there, lurking like a shadow behind you, his presence cold and heavy, suffocating your every breath. He never spoke to you unless necessary, never showed any warmth or softness in his voice. There was nothing but formality and distance, a thick wall of indifference that made your skin crawl whenever he was near.
To be fair, the only thing you thought interesting of him was his dragon Vaghar.
Your days had become a game of silence, your once carefree nature now replaced with the constant awareness of his eyes on you. You missed the days when you could write to Jace without a worry, when his words brought you comfort and a glimpse of hope. Now, the letters felt like a secret rebellion, something dangerous, but you couldn’t give them up. They were the only link to a world that still held some warmth.
You still wrote to him, though your letters had become shorter, more cautious. You dared not mention Aemond, or your isolation. Instead, you spoke of mundane things, of books you were reading, of the changing seasons. Jace’s responses, too, had shifted, though he remained kind and attentive. There was always a note of tension, a hint of restraint. You knew he was aware of the shifting tides, of your father's allegiance to the Greens.
You happily walked in your room, smiling as you held the newest letter on your hand from Jace.
Aemond was walking right behind you, but you couldn’t care.
Jace's letter had just come.
You chuckled to yourself as you closed the door of your room behind you, leaving Aemond outside, guarding your door.
You jogged to your desk, sitting down on the chair and breaking the sigil, opening with trembling hands the letter.
There were only a few lines written.
You furrowed your brows, confused. He usually wrote at least one page.
Dearest friend,
I assume you have heard of my family’s recent loss, my sweet brother Luke, gone by the hand of my uncle Aemond.
It saddens me to tell you this, but due to your father’s allegiance and your newest sworn sword, I believe it is time to end our communications.
Jace Velaryon
You felt a pain in your chest.
A deep pain.
You weren’t going to receive any more letters from him.
I believe it is time to end our communications.
You stood up from your desk, leaving the letter to hit the floor as you ran to your bed, laying face down, your arms crossed under your face as you bursted into tears.
You didn’t eat lunch, you didn’t have dinner. You didn’t want to get up from your bed.
Your maids, even one of your closest friends tried to walk past Aemond to check on you, but he was impenetrable, he wouldn’t let anyone in, not if you didn’t want them to.
His behavior left you speechless.
You knew he was loyal, you knew he was one to do his duty, but the way he stood up for you, not letting anyone in just as you asked, left you almost flattered.
The hours dragged on as you laid in your bed, the room dark and suffocating. The weight of Jace's words still lingered, pressing down on your chest. It was as though the last thread connecting you to the warmth of your past had been severed. You felt utterly alone, the castle walls seeming colder, the silence more deafening.
But outside your door, Aemond remained, steadfast and unmoving. His presence felt different now, less like the shadow you despised and more like an unavoidable part of your life. He had become a constant, whether you liked it or not, and now, oddly, that constancy brought a shred of comfort in your moment of loss.
By the time the moon rose high in the sky, you hadn’t moved from your bed, save to cry quietly into your pillow. The pain of Jace's rejection, not just of you but of the friendship you had cherished, was overwhelming. You couldn’t bring yourself to think of anything else, let alone leave your room.
A soft knock echoed through the thick wooden door. At first, you ignored it, thinking it was another maid or friend trying to check on you, Aemond would have taken care of it in a moment. But after a moment, there was another knock, firm yet measured, followed by a voice, calm, collected, and unmistakably Aemond’s.
"You haven't eaten." He said, his tone devoid of his usual coldness, though it was still restrained. You laid still, wondering if you could pretend you hadn’t heard him. But the silence lingered too long, and it was clear he wasn’t going to leave. He was your sworn sword, after all, bound to you, whether you liked it or not.
"I’m not hungry." You muttered into your pillow, your voice muffled and thick with the remnants of tears.
There was a pause, a moment of hesitation, which was unlike him. Then, Aemond spoke again, quieter this time. "It has been hours. You should take something, if only to keep your strength."
His words were filled with disinterest despite the meaning of them. He made impossible things possible.
"I don’t want anything." You repeated, more firmly this time.
The door opened with a loud creek, and Aemond just walked inside. You scoffed, annoyed, but you felt too sad to think about him pissing you off.
“Leave me alone!” You groaned on the mattress, clenching your hands into fists. You could hear him moving in the room.
“That puppy of my nephew is what has reduced you in this state?” He asked, scoffing. You turned your head to look at him, and you saw him looking down at a letter in his hands.
Jace’s letter.
You bolted upright on the bed, fury boiling inside you at the sight of Aemond holding Jace’s letter. His tall, imposing figure seemed even more oppressive in the dim light of your room. His one good eye flicked over the page with a mixture of disdain and cold amusement, while the sapphire in his other socket glinted in the low light.
"Give that back!" you demanded, your voice cracking from the tears and frustration, but Aemond made no move to return the letter. He dropped the letter, letting out another scoff.
“You’re a fool.” He said, his rudeness making you red to your ear.
“How dare you talk to me like that?” You exclaimed, indignited.
“He’s a bastard. You’re sweet on a bastard, the son of my whore sister. That’s foolish.”
You felt your blood boil at his words, each syllable a sharp jab to your heart. “You don’t know anything about me! You think you can judge me just because you think you're so much better than everyone else!?”
He stepped closer, towering over you, his expression a mixture of contempt and something unreadable. “I am better than everyone else. I’m surely better than that boy who has no right on the throne he wants to claim so much.”
Your anger flared, but underneath it was a deep sorrow. “He’s more than just a name or a title! Jace has been kind to me, and you—” you pointed an accusing finger at him, “you are the one who brings darkness wherever you go.”
Aemond’s eye narrowed, the air crackling with tension. “Kindness won’t save you, and neither will that bastard. This world isn’t built on sentiment. It’s built on strength and blood.”
“Strength?” you spat, incredulous. “Strength that comes from killing boys? That’s your idea of strength?”
He looked unfazed, his expression hardening. “Luke was weak. That’s why he’s dead.”
“You’re twisted.” You hissed. “It brings you pleasure, doesn’t it? Being feared, see people looking away from you –” He pushed you back before you could continue, as he started pulling off the upper structure of his armor.
You stumbled back as you looked up at him, confused and stunned, but he pushed you back again as he took off the lower part of his armor, making you fall back on your bed.
“You want to know what brings me pleasure?” He grabbed your ankle, dragging you down the bed until your butt was almost over it. He pushed the skirts of your dress up, exposing your legs.
“What do you think you’re doing?” You tried to close your legs, or pull down the skirts, but he raised your legs up, then he leaned down to grab both your thighs, spreading them apart, pressing his face against your underwear.
“This.” He mumbled against the thin clothing, his nose pressing against a funny spot against you, that made a strange sound come out of your mouth. “This brings me pleasure.” He growled as he pulled down your underwear along with the stockings. “Teaching stupid ladies their places.” He said as he dived his face back between your thighs, now his mouth pressing on that same spot, sucking and rubbing with his tongue, leaving you breathless for a moment, the pleasure was so high and so good you couldn’t speak.
You couldn’t see him, your skirts were covering the view, but you didn’t really care. Not when it felt this good.
You didn’t think you'd ever felt this good.
The one who was making you feel good, was a Targaryen Prince, a child murdered, the rider of the largest dragon in the world.
You could only squirm, your mind numbed by the pleasure, slowly overcoming all the alarms your brain was sending you, telling you to push the prince away, to not let him touch you in such an appropriate manner.
But then, all so suddenly it stopped, leaving you panting heavily. You saw Aemond raising his head from between your legs, coming into your field of vision.
His chin was wet, his only eye almost completely black as he looked down at you.
His hands moved on your skin, almost gently, caressing your skin as they moved up, your knees, your ankles. He wrapped his fingers around your ankles, securing your legs raised, your feet by each side of his head.
You should have stopped him.
This was improper, it was a sin. A sin you were committing with the worst man in the Seven Kingdoms.
You wanted to move, kick him back, telling him to stop touching you with his filthy, blood-stained hands, but under the dark gaze of his single eye you couldn’t move.
Aemond tightened the grip on your ankles, suddenly pulling you up so your hips lifted from the mattress. Startled, you let out a weak squeak, gripping the sheets tightly as your body moved forward, the back of your thighs landing harshly against him, your core rubbing against a protuberance on his pants, the impact sending another jolt of pleasure through your body.
“Yeah, you like it.” He hummed to himself as he dropped you back on the mattress. He leaned down, his body making space for himself between your legs as his face came to hover yours. “And you want to feel it more, don't you?” He smirked, looking down at you.
You could feel your face burning because of his words, more likely because of the truthfulness of them, because yes, you wanted to feel it again.
“No-” You mumbled as you looked up at him, directly in his eye, trying to sound firm, but he simply chuckled, grabbing your face with his hand, his fingers digging in the soft skin of your cheeks.
“Such a liar. No wonder why my sweet bastard-nephew doesn’t want you.”
That stang.
Your eyes immediately filled with tears and anger.
“How dare you?” You hissed as you tried to push him off of you, slapping his chest repeatedly, but he only smiled even more.
“There, there…” He hummed as his hand went back underneath your dress, finding you private again. No matter how much you fought, his body was keeping your legs apart, and he seemed impossible to move.
You only stopped when you felt a strange feeling, something filling you in a way you’ve never felt, that made you gasp out loud. You unconsciously let out a moan, your back arched instinctively, as your body almost contorted as he started moving his finger inside you.
“So easy to shut you up, mh?” He asked as he followed your face to be able to see every expression you made. “So easy to put into place.” He added then in a low voice.
You gritted your teeth together, trying to find in you the force to push him off, to not give him the satisfaction he was showing with that damn smile of his, but you couldn’t. The only sounds that came out of your mouth were whines or soft moans as his finger moved faster inside you, caressing everywhere inside you, and eliciting a pure bliss of pleasure.
“Jace is a fool for leaving you.” He said as he looked at you, your eyes half closed, your head leaned back, your lips apart. He didn’t even look like he realized he said that, it was like he was talking to himself and accidentally said it outloud. You turned your head to look at him, finding his eyes fixed on you, staring in appreciation. “You’re a rare beauty.” He said, his voice low and rough.
You blinked slowly, the weight of his words sinking in. A warmth spread across your chest, but you weren’t sure if it was the pleasure or the way his gaze lingered on you.
No.
You thought to yourself.
Not him.
Please.
But the way he looked at you, like he was looking at the most beautiful thing in the world was doing something to you. It made your stomach clench, your head dizzier.
You’ve been told countless times by suitors that you were a sight to see, a beauty, but it did nothing if not make you blush or feel appreciated.
With Jace you felt your heart beat so loud you feared it could jump out of your chest.
You too were aware of your beauty, but you never thought of it as a rareness.
But now with Aemond Targaryen, the cold, mean, cruel man, who was doing unspeakable things to you, who looked at you like a Goddess, you truly felt like one.
Aemond’s gaze pierced through you, a silent intensity in his expression that made your breath catch in your throat. You wished you could deny the way his presence and actions were affecting you, wished you could ignore the way his words stirred something deep inside. But the truth was undeniable.
As he slipped his second finger inside your thigh core, you felt it crushing on you. You didn’t know what, but for a moment, you forgot about everything, Jace, the war, Aemond’s sins, your worries, your anger and your sadness, it all vanished by the newfound feeling of ecstasy. You whined louder, making aemond clamp his other hand immediately over your mouth to muffle your sounds as he kept moving your fingers. You looked at him with wide eyes, you didn’t know what had just happened to you, but you wanted to keep feeling it, no matter what cost, you wanted to feel that good again.
He kept pumping his fingers inside you as you saw him starting to move, rub, against your thigh, some hardness pressing and caressing your skin. His brows arched slightly, his eye narrowing slightly as he pressed his hips harder against you, seeking more friction and pressure.
You’ve never seen a man do a face close to that one.
You’ve never seen Aemond make a face like that, and it was beautiful, it was breathtaking, hypnotizing, you felt like watching him all day as he experienced his pleasure.
He didn’t miss the way you seemed affected, obviously. He looked down at you and found you staring at him, his eye darkened even more, his pupil dilating even more if possible as he clenched his jaw.
“You like this?” He looked down at you, moving his hand from your mouth to your neck, gripping it tightly, but not enough to actually cut your air off. You tilted your head back, wrapping your hands on his wrist and arm, gasping as he slipped his fingers out, passing them over your pearl just to see you squirm, his lips moving into a smirk. “No.” He said as he sat up in his haunches between your legs, forcing you to spread them to make room for his body as he started to undo his pants. “You love it.”
You tried to look down, trying to understand what he was doing but he squeezed your throat into a warning, keeping your head in place. “What are you trying to see, uh?” He growled as he pushed his pants down enough to let his cock spring free. “Such a curious menace, always getting into trouble.” He hissed as he leaned over her to look at you from above. “Always sneaking around, making my life harder.” He gritted his teeth. “Making me chase you.” He raised her skirts to your waist as he aligned his cock to your core, wet and warm, hot.
“No – “ You mumbled as you felt the tip pressing on your skin. “Y-you can’t- We’re not married-” You mumbled as you panted, shaking your head. Aemond smiled down at you, his thumb caressing the skin of her neck.
“No one will notice.” He said firmly, pushing slightly, making his tip grace the inside your core, just slightly, enough to hear another moan from you. “Just…” He groaned as he repeated the movement, moving his hips forward as his face contorted in pleasure. “... the tip – Fuck –” He groaned as he started moving his hips, the tip of his cock was being sucked in every time by your cunt, as if it was trying to keep him inside.
It didn’t feel bad.
She did feel like her cunt was being torn apart, but she found the pain mixed to the pleasure extremely pleasing.
It was good.
It was so good.
The pleasure was so overwhelming, so strong, so blissful.
“A-Aemond – “ You bit your lower lip as you arched your back, jerking your hips to find more pleasure as his tip kept slipping out and back in.
Aemond couldn’t tear his eyes off the sight, your core making a wet sound every time he slipped in, your walls forced open to make space for his thick cock, his red tip being welcomed in the warmness of your body, and then the sound of your weak wail every time he pulled back, only enough to be able to push back in.
“Yeah like that –” He growled as he tightened his hand around your neck, his eye still fixed on how your bodies connected, his thrusts regular, calculated and hard.
He was hanging by a thread, and he was showing a great amount of control, just by not slamming his whole long cock inside you, and making you scream in pain and pleasure.
“Grind yourself like a whore –” He snarled as he started rolling his hips faster, the wet sound growing louder along with his pace. “Fuck youre so tight – You’re squeezing me inside - ”
It didn’t bother you the way he called you, the way he spoke. If not, it only aroused you more.
You bit your lower lip harder, and no matter how low you tried to keep your noises, it became impossible as Aemond moved his free hand, using his fingers to circle your pearl, putting just the right amount of pressure. Your back arched violently as you threw your head back, your mouth open in an oval shape, grunts and moans coming out one after another as Aemond tightened his hand around your throat, starting to cut some of your air supplies, your eyes rolled in the back of your head.
It was all so much.
It was all so good.
“Come.” He growled as he finally looked up at you. “Come, before I lose it.” His eye fixed on yours. He looked feral. He looked like a chained animal, that once set free, would have hunted and killed everything in its path. “Come, before absolutely ruin you.”
It wasn’t like you had any control over it, because when the pleasure reached you in such a hard, strong frisson, you could only surrender to it. Your eyes widened, your mouth opened, but Aemond tightened his hand on your throat even more, killing every sound you could have let out. Your eyes watered as your hips jerked, the pleasure washing over you in devastating waves.
He snarled, letting go of your throat, but you barely had the time to take a deep breathe because you felt a stinging pain, barely muffled by the aftershocks of you climax, as Aemond grabbed tightly your hips and harshly pulled to him, making you slip down on the bed and making his cock thrust completely inside you, as he moaned on top of you.
“So fucking tight.” His voice was strained, his breathing heavy, then, you felt a strange sensation of wetness inside you.
You whined as the bliss of pleasure slowly faded away, leaving you in an uncomfortable pain, so you pushed Aemond away, who retrieved with a groan, slipping out of you.
You slowly sat up, looking at him as your mind slowly registered the last moments.
Aemond stood up from the bed, tucking himself inside his pants and starting to put his armor back on.
You didn’t say anything in the meanwhile, you just stared down at the bed covers, where you and Aemond were laying till a few seconds before, committing one of the worst sins ever.
A sin that felt so good.
You snapped out of your moment of trance only when you heard the door slam shut, and a strange smell of burned paper in the air. You moved to the end of the bed, on the floor, there was a piece of paper on fire.

It had been a long day in Dragonstone, and both Jacaerys and Lucerys knew they were in trouble. After a fight with some knights, they both sat in their sibling's chambers, unhappy and unsettled. They knew once their mother returned from her visit to Kings Landing they were going to get it. The two sat on their beds nursing their wounds in their shared chamber.
But their door opened, both boys raised their heads Jacaerys with a black eye, the Lucerys with a bleeding nose, and the Velayon boys gulped suddenly realizing they were going to be getting it far sooner than they had hoped.
Vaella, their cousin and half-sister walked into their room with purpose. Dressed as usual in her long black and red velvet dress with her curls pulled back with a matching bow. She walks to stand in the centre of both their beds, crosses her arms and glares, "Explain. Before I send a raven to your mother."
Jacaerys spoke up immediately a bit intimidated by her "No, you can't tell our mother," he said.
"Please," Lucerys added quickly. "It was just a small fight, nothing serious."
"explain. What happened. Quickly" she demanded,
The boys exchanged a look and Jace sighed. "It was just a small fight, really. " He said, "A knight made a comment and we lost our temper."
Luke fidgeted with a piece of the sheet. "It's fine, Vaella," he said quietly. "You don't need to get involved."
"which knight was it?" she asked,
"Ser Pyter Thornwood," Jace muttered, frowning.
Luke also scowled at the name. "He's an ass," he added.
"What did he say?" she asked,
Luke's face reddened, and he looked down at the sheets,
Jace swallowed, his expression darkening. "He... he called us bastards and princes of brothel," he said quietly.
She nodded silently a moment before she finally spoke "Alright. Next time just tell me. You won't have any trouble from him again,"
"You're gonna teach him a lesson?" luke asked,
"... Better. I'll remove his tounge" she snapped
Both boys just stared, surprised at the anger in her voice, and how easily she had spoken of such a cruel fate for the knight.
Luke looked down after a moment.
Jace, on the other hand, tried to remain aloof, though his voice was a little more gentle when he spoke. "You don't have to do that," he said quietly. "I don't need you to defend me," he tried to act tough.
"Who said I'm defending you? A remark on either of you is a remark on your mother who is queen and any remarks against either of you is treason." She explained "That and any snark against you boys is a snark against our family, myself included. If people are allowed to start insulting the two of you over rumours of parentage how long before he turns on the twins too, on me, on Aegon and viserys. This doesn't end with you two it's a snark against us all."
All of that had never occurred to either of the boys. They knew they were targets, but they hadn't thought about everyone else.
Jace's shoulders sagged a little, and he looked guilty.
Luke, on the other hand, actually looked nervous. "They wouldn't do that," he said, but a hint of fear was now in his voice.
"They would. That's why we end this before it begins." She nodded,
Jace nodded slowly, finally convinced but Luke still looked a bit worried.
"But the tongues? Wouldn't that be a little extreme?" luke asked anxiously.
"he can't insult anyone without a tounge." She shrugged,
"... That's true," he reluctantly admitted. Both brothers knew that once Vaella 's mind was set in something, there was no going back. The only thing they could do was make sure she didn't act rashly. "Are... are you going to do it right now?" Luke asked warily.
"Probably tonight, once he gets drunk enough to not scream as loudly" she shrugged
Luke winced at how casually she spoke.
Jace, on the other hand, looked intrigued, but a part of him still felt a twinge of guilt at the thought of Ser Thornwood losing his tongue. "Won't there be consequences?" He asked.
"Never had any before" she shrugged
Both boys were a bit taken aback. "Before?" Jace repeated, looking at her in astonishment.
"You did this before?" Luke added, a hint of awe in his voice.
"... Did you never question what happened to that knight that called you both bastards back in King's Landing? You think he just disappeared?"
They both exchanged a look. They could guess what happened to that knight, but he had never confirmed it.
"That was you?" Jace asked.
"I... you... didn't tell us," Luke admitted hesitantly. "That's very badass."
"thank you, but you can thank Starburn. She ate him"
They both grimaced; still getting used to the idea of a giant dragon eating a person, even if they deserved it.
"You... you fed him to Starburn?" Luke asked faintly, his face pale.
"I did, he begged for mercy like a bitch. It was funny" she chuckled "And I was slowly poisoning Aemond until your mother moved us away from King's Landing. Still have someone working on it though"
Luke actually gaped at her. He looked a mixture between horrified and impressed - mainly the former.
Jace, on the other hand, just looked amused. "You've been poisoning Aemond ?" He asked, clearly entertained.
"yeah for like six years, it's why his eye never heals,"
"And no one's noticed? You haven't been caught?" Jace asked, eyebrows raised.
Luke was speechless; his mind was racing with all this information he had suddenly received.
"you two seem to forget I have Daemon as a father. I feel like you should be less surprised" she chuckled,
"You're his daughter, all right," Jace said at last.
Luke nodded slowly, and his voice was a bit tentative. "You're not... going to poison us, are you?"
"awww," she cooed giving both boys a kiss on the cheek "like I'd tell you if I was" she chuckled
They both shuddered slightly as she kissed their cheeks and exchanged a look; Luke looked slightly more alarmed than Jace.
Jace rolled his eyes, but his voice had a hint of amusement as he said, "You're worse than Daemon, you know."
"awww you get an extra kiss for such a nice compliment" she chuckled giving Jace another kiss
Jace scowled slightly as she gave him another kiss but a hint of a grin played on his lips. He pushed her away slightly, with a grumble that was less than convincing. "Knock it off."
Luke had regained some more colour in his cheeks, and there was a hint of a smile on his face. "And what about me ?" He asked slyly.
"do you have a nice compliment for me too?" She asked Luke
The youngest prince hesitated for a moment, and then he looked up at her with his big eyes. "You're... clever and brave," he said quietly. "And you're one of the people I trust the most," he added timidly.
Jace huffed, as if to say 'suck up', but remained silent.
"aww that's very sweet Luke" she smiled giving his lips a little peck and tussling his hair
A blush spread across Luke's face
Jace rolled his eyes, but he didn't look quite as annoyed now. "You're spoiling him, you know?" He said in a dry voice.
"oh? Jealous Jacaerys?" She raised an eyebrow
Jace's scowled, his expression shifting to defensive immediately. "Jealous of what? He's a baby."
Luke protested indignantly. "I am not a baby," he said hotly.
"Jace. Do you or do you not want a kiss too?" she asked,
Jace flushed slightly, his cheeks turning pink, and he had the decency to look embarrassed. "I... I don't need a kiss," he muttered, stubbornly avoiding her gaze.
"but did you want one?"
"No," he said firmly, still refusing to look at her.
Luke looked highly amused, and there was a hint of a smirk on his face. "He wants one," he said slyly.
"suit yourself," she chuckled "Luke? Would you like another kiss?"
Luke's eyes widened slightly, like he couldn't believe he was being offered another kiss. He was still reeling from the first one, and the prospect of another made his cheeks flush. He looked at her and nodded shyly, his voice quiet. "Yes, please-"
"Hey!" Jace protested, feeling somewhat betrayed.
"you were asked and you said no" she chuckled to Jace before giving Luke another sweet kiss
Jace just huffed, clearly frustrated by his own stubbornness.
Luke was blushing again, but there was a dreamy smile on his lips as she kissed him. He looked like he had just been given the best gift in the world.
"That's not fair," Jace pointed out, in a slightly petulant voice.
"how? I asked if you wanted a kiss you said no. I asked him if he wanted a kiss he said yes so he got a kiss. What's about that isn't fair Jace?"
Jace grumbled, clearly annoyed by her logic. He knew he had no response to that, and his pride wasn't going to allow him to admit he wanted a kiss from her.
There was a hint of a smile on Luke's face; he was clearly enjoying watching his brother's frustration.
"Ugh," Jace groaned. "This is ridiculous. You - you know I want a kiss too!" Jace's voice was full of frustration, and a hint of embarrassment as he glanced at Luke, who was looking completely smug.
"well why didn't you say you wanted a kiss?"
"Because I'm not going to ask for one," he huffed sulkily.
Luke snickered from his bed, clearly finding everything very entertaining.
"don't ask, don't get." She chuckled before setting he hand son Jace's strong shoulders and giving him a long heated kiss "there happy Velaryon now?" She teased him
Jace's eyes widened as she pressed her lips against his. Every protest and stubborn pride vanished as soon as he felt the heat of her kiss. He returned the kiss eagerly, his arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her closer. He was flushed and a bit breathless when she finally pulled back. "Very," he replied in a slightly hoarse voice.
"good," she chuckled "now if you two are done and have had enough kisses I have a knight to go and deal with"
Luke looked a little disappointed, but he nodded reluctantly.
Jace, on the other hand, looked a bit reluctant to let her go, his arms still wrapped around her waist. "Must you go right now?" He asked in a voice that was almost a whine.
"well, what else am I to do?"
Jace huffed, still holding her in his strong arms, reluctant to let her go. He looked like he wanted to say something probably along the lines of "stay here with me, don't go." but he knew deep down she would never listen.
Luke was silent as well; a bit sad that she had to go he would have very much preferred it if she stayed, so he just bit his lip and looked down.
"how about this, I shall go and deal with this knight. And when I'm done I'll come back and we can have a cuddle all three of us?"
Both the boys' eyes lit up at that. The idea of a cuddle with her was certainly very enticing.
Jace nodded eagerly, his annoyance replaced by excitement at the prospect of her returning to them. "Okay," he said eagerly, still holding her.
Luke was smiling again, clearly looking forward to it. "Yeah," he agreed quickly.
"right then you boys be good" she cooed giving them both a sweet kiss before she headed out of their chambers
Jace and Luke both looked flushed, but their cheeks were still slightly tinged pink after her lingering kiss.
They watched her leave, both of them feeling strangely bereft in her absence. But they could be confident that she'd come back, and then they'd get to spend some more time with her. They both settled comfortably into their beds debating as boys do over who got the better kisses, and patiently waiting for her return.

You always knew that Prince Jacaerys Velaryon had a special fondness for you, and as you grew older, his feelings grew stronger. The Queen, his mother, seemed to approve of this and promised your father that a suitable marriage would be arranged. However, she failed to mention that this would only happen once Jacaerys married his cousin, Lady Baela.
Despite thinking of Jace as your closest friend, you came to realize that there were other reasons he wanted you around. He may have been too proper to admit it directly, but something was definitely going on between the two of you. Even during thunderstorms like this one, he couldn't resist reaching out to touch you or offering to hold you close in the dreary castle where you played these games together.
“Jace, I… I am not a child anymore, I don’t think I need to sit in your lap…,” you mumbled, playfully trying to wriggle out of his grasp. “And, Oh! Jace! You’ve such cold hands, I…!”
The sound of the thundering storm outside filled the room as Prince Jacaerys chuckled, his warm breath gently caressing your ear. His arms were like steel bands around you, pulling you closer to him as he settled comfortably in the overstuffed armchair beside the fireplace.
You felt your heart racing in anticipation - not just from fear of the storm but from the electricity that seemed to crackle between you both whenever he got this close.
"Oh come now, my dearest friend," he teased, his voice low and seductive. "You know that sitting on my lap is exactly what you want." His hot breath sent shivers down your spine and goosebumps across your skin as he nuzzled his cheek against yours. "And isn't it better to be warm and safe inside with me than out there, shivering in the cold?"
He held you tighter, almost possessively, and it was impossible not to notice the way his fingers danced along your arms, tracing patterns on your skin that sent delicious chills down your spine. You found yourself squirming under his touch, trying desperately not to let him see how much you enjoyed it. Your heart raced faster when he leaned in closer and whispered against your neck, "I've missed you these past moons." His words sent a wave of heat through you that was only amplified by the gentle breeze from the fireplace fanning against your skin. “King’s Landing is boring without you.”
You blushed and batted your eyelashes, feigning ignorance of the growing pressure under your buttocks. “I missed you too. You've missed the warmth - it was finally warm enough to go swimming. I went with your mother the Queen’s ladies’ maids. But then again… I don’t think you would’ve come with us, for we were all in the thinnest of shifts and they all turned see-through… No, right, you would probably just have trained with your uncle and your brother. What a foolish idea, you, swimming with us…”
There was a brief moment of stillness, and then you had to maintain a neutral expression as Jace moaned quietly into your hair. He placed his hand on your clothed thigh and gave it a squeeze, his arousal evident by the way his hardness twitched. It was amusing to act like an innocent maiden, and it clearly turned him on immensely.
Prince Jacaerys's eyes glinted with mischievous amusement, and he leaned in to nip at your earlobe. "Oh, really? And what were you ladies doing while I was gone?" His hand began to move up your thigh slowly, teasingly tracing patterns on your skin as he waited for your response. You could feel the anticipation building between you both as his fingers grazed closer and closer to the edge of your damp fabric.
"We swam in the warm sea," you replied coyly, trying not to squirm too much under his touch. "The waves were rough and salty, and the sand was warm and comforting. We splashed around and tried to steal each other’s shifts." You let out a momentary giggle, grinning to yourself. It’d been much tamer, of course, but you were playing expertly into his fantasy. You knew there was nothing he wanted as much as to make you his, to corrupt his favorite ‘little Lady’. "It felt so refreshing!"
"Mmm, I bet it did," he purred, and you could practically hear the wicked grin in his voice. His fingers had now reached the top of your thigh-high stocking, his fingertips tracing patterns along your bare skin. Goosebumps erupted across your body as he continued to tease you, inch by agonizing inch. "Tell me more…"
You could feel a blush creeping up your cheeks as you continued with the charade, embellishing the details to please him. "Well," you began, slightly breathless, "the sun was so hot that day... and we were all quite flushed from our swim. We laid out on the sand to dry off, letting the breeze dry our damp hair... and... and our shifts." You let out a little gasp as his fingers brushed over a particularly sensitive spot behind your knee, just where the lace that held up the stocking was, sending shivers down your spine.
"Oh Jace! That tickles!"
The room was heavy with desire now, the only sound between you two becoming the crackling fireplace and the steady patter of rain against the windowpanes.
The tension was palpable as you both danced around what neither of you wanted to admit out loud - that this game had gone on long enough. You decided to finish this slowly, to tease and torture him just a little longer, seeing as you have wrapped him around your finger whilst he thought the same about himself.
“They told me some stories about what their Husbands were doing to, and uh… with them. I could hardly believe what they were saying… I… Oh, I wish I could talk about it with you, but you’re, well, you. It would be improper.”
The look on Jace's face was priceless - a mix of lust, desire, and determination to know more about your imagined trysts. His hand had stilled its ministrations, replaced by a feverish grip on your thigh as he leaned in closer. "Tell me. Please, I want to know."
You bit your lower lip, playing the part of the coy maiden to perfection. "Well, if you insist…" You leaned in closer to him adjusting your seat on his lap, all the while letting your hand sneak behind his neck, gently playing with his locks. "They… they said their husbands were... touching them... there," you said, blushing and pointing to your lower abdomen.
"And that it made them feel... quite nice. But... But I don't understand why that would be pleasant, Jace... They also said that they, when their husbands wished it, opened their mouths wide and did this to… well…," she mumbled and slowly licked her finger. “That sounds… so scandalous. Against walls, in the sea, over tables… In the mouth, in the lady parts and even… buttocks…”
The vulnerability you exuded, the innocence you presented, melted away as you allowed him a glimpse at the cunning woman underneath. You wanted this too, and by the Mother, did you want it now. An involuntary moan escaped your lips.
He growled low in his throat, his breath fanning over your heated skin, and you knew that the line between reality and fantasy had blurred for him. His hands were no longer playful but demanding as he cupped your bottom cheeks and pulled you closer to him. "And what do you think about that, little one? Do you want to experience such scandalous things? To feel the touch of your Prince?"
Your eyes locked with his as you ran your tongue along your lower lip. "I… I don't know, Your Grace," you purred, grinding slightly against his hardness through your petticoats. "Only you can show me…"
His eyes darkened as he stared into yours before he leaned in closer and pressed his mouth to yours in a hungry kiss. His lips were soft yet firm as they moved against yours urgently, desperately, as if he was trying to devour every part of you. His tongue slipped between your lips without waiting for permission and explored every inch of your mouth, tasting you like a man starved of water in the Dornish deserts.
You moaned into the kiss, unable to control yourself any longer. Your hands tangled themselves in his silky black hair as you pressed yourself closer to him seeking more contact between your bodies – desperate for something... more...
"You're such a tease," he murmured in your ear, lifting you up and carrying you to his bed. "I'll show you everything, I've been waiting for this moment for so long."
As he carefully laid you down on the bed, he assured you, "I won't hurt you, my dear. I just..." His words trailed off, mumbled like a drunken confession as he pushed your skirt up and reveled in the sensation of your wetness.
"Gods, I want you so badly." He dropped down onto his knees and pulled you closer to the edge of the bed, sloppily kissing your thighs up to your sweetness. “Tell me you’re mine, I want to hear you screaming my name… My perfect little Lady…”
You didn't hesitate in your response. "Yours, Jace. I'm yours and only yours... please... I need you... now..."
He didn't need any more encouragement as he pulled your hiked your skirt, exposing your core to him completely. You gasped as his hot, wet tongue found your bud, sending shockwaves of pleasure coursing through your body.
He was as good with his mouth as he was with words, you realized, and you moaned louder, arching your back. This wasn't how Ladies spoke about it in stories, it was so much better... so much more intimate.
"You are so wet for me," Jace murmured between long, languid kisses and licks up your slit, his tongue working its magic as he tasted your arousal. He grinned against your folds, the hungry look in his eyes making him seem even more wicked and dangerous. His fingers found their way into your stockings, tracing up your thighs and teasingly skimming the sensitive skin beneath them, making you gasp and shiver.
"And how do you like this?" he asked, his rough voice sending shivers down your spine. You couldn’t help but whimper in response as he dipped a finger inside you, stretching your tight entrance, filling you with delicious pleasure. "Do you like feeling how wanton you are for me?"
His other hand slid underneath your shift to caress your bare stomach before trailing up to cup one of your breasts. His nails scraped lightly against your sensitive nipple, making you arch into him and made you let out a needy moan.
"Oh yes," he breathed against your skin, "Let me see how much you need me." With that, he pulled back the soft fabric of your chemise to expose one breast completely and took it into his mouth with a growl while his fingers continued to work their way inside of you.
His lips and tongue circled around the sensitive peak while his fingers thrust deeper into you, pushing against that wonderful, aching spot inside.
The sensations were out of this world and increased with each push of his fingers, though every time you came close to your undoing, he stopped what he was doing with a small smirk. “You really think I’m letting you finish so quickly? No, little one, you’ve teased me long enough. It’s my turn now…”
With a final, lingering suck on your nipple, he stood up and undid his trousers. His manhood, long and hard pressed against his trousers, could no longer be hidden. His eyes bored into yours as he removed the last barrier between you two. He positioned himself at your entrance and looked down at you expectantly, "Tell me you want this."
“Yes,” you breathed out, your voice unsteady with desire. “I want you, Jace. I want all of you... inside... now...”
He smiled a devilish grin before he entered you roughly in one go, stopping only momentarily to let you adjust to his size.
"Jace, oh..." You couldn't help but moan out loud as he filled you completely, stretching you in ways you never thought possible. The slight pain quickly dissipated as pleasure took its place. Panting for air, pearls of sweat began to form on your brow as Jace continued to thrust into you relentlessly - slowly at first then picking up speed with every moan that escaped your lips until your bodies were slapping against each other like the waves in the Narrow Sea during a stormy night.
“Mine… Mine, all mine, so perfect, such a beautiful cunny, all mine, so tight I…”, he rambled and held onto both of your shoulders to push himself deeper into you as you folded your legs around his handsome, muscular torso. “Only mine, so beautiful… Fuck, open your mouth, darling,”, he groaned and blushed when you wantonly opened your mouth, letting your tongue hang out. He gathered some spit and let it drip down into your mouth, shuddering at the feeling of your walls tightening around his hard cock.
“Is this what you wanted, Little One? To be used like a whore? A common whore with her legs spread wide for any man who would have her?”
Your hips bucked against his, meeting him thrust for thrust as you rode out the waves of pleasure crashing over you from his words and his cock. “You’re so wet, so slick, just for me… No one else, only me… no one can have this… this tight cunny…”
Tears of pleasure streamed down your face as you neared the precipice, not caring about decorum or anything else but the building fire between your legs. "Yes, Yours… only yours..." you panted, barely able to form a coherent sentence anymore. "Only yours... I want you... to... to... fuck me... make me yours forever... oh Jace...," you whined, clenching your fists and biting down on your lip as you convulsed in pure extasy.
It felt beautifully cruel as Jace continued chasing his high before pulling our at the last second, spraying his hot seed over your stomach and your hitched dress.
His groans of pleasure filled the room as he collapsed onto the bed next to you. His chest heaved, sweat pouring down his bare torso. After a moment, he turned towards you and you were met with a sight that rendered you speechless. His dark eyes shone with a mixture of satisfaction, lust, and something deeper, something tender that sent sparks fluttering in your belly.
"Forgive me," he whispered, his voice rough from the aftermath of his climax. "I was too rough." His hand moved up to trace lazy circles on your inner thigh, making you shiver at the touch. "I promise to be gentler next time," he murmured, his fingers moving higher until they traced the edge of your sore entrance.
He moved closer to you as his other hand cradled your cheek, his thumb lightly brushing against your lips. He leaned in and planted a light kiss on them. It was so different from the fierce and passionate ones you had shared earlier; this one was soft and gentle like a fleeting promise.
"From now on, I will treat you like a princess," he told you, pulling back slightly to look into your eyes. "I hope you enjoyed it," he added gingerly. You nodded in response even though there was a sudden lump in your throat that made it difficult for you to get any words out.
"I'm not a princess," you protested weakly.
"Well," he smirked down at you, "you are my princess."

Midnights Masterlist
Before arriving at Dragonstone, your sister took you aside and sat you down in your chambers, smoothing out the front of your dress as if you were still a child in need of constant care.
Taking a deep breath, she sat beside you, placing a hand on your cheek, "My Y/N..."
A small, timid smile appeared on your face. But you wouldn't meet her eyes. You couldn't. A piece of you felt betrayed by what she had done just days prior. Giving your hand away without a word.
By the way
"Before you leave for Dragonstone, there's some things I need to share with you," She explained, "Some things you may not want to hear, but should."
You nodded halfheartedly, "Yes, Aurely?"
Have to say
"The prince will expect certain things from and of you. Things you may not be prepared for."
Shaking your head, you smiled at her, laying your hand atop of hers, "Sister, mother has already been over this. The ceremony, what happens after the ceremony... How fast I need to be with child. I know."
I just may like some explanations
Releasing a shaky breath, your sister shook her head, "No, Y/N, other things. Things mother wouldn't dare share with you."
Raising a brow, your smile faltered, "Is it something bad?"
"It's not good."
You urged her to continue, "Go on."
"It's common for men to take on other women in addition to their wives. Whores, as they're called. They could be noble women, servants, commoners, even prostitutes. Even your closest friends."
Your shoulders fell, "He could be different, Aurely."
She shook her head, "Most men aren't."
"But what about Robert? He treats you well."
She laughed, "He treats his whores better."
Your eyes went wide, "I'm sorry, Aurely, I didn't know."
Fuckin' politics and gender roles
"Everyone knows, they just don't discuss it. Because it's not meant to be discussed. I wish someone had warned me before I was wed, but they didn't. So I'm telling you now. Keep your head up and mouth shut."
"You can't possibly expect me to do that."
Staring into your eyes, she gripped your shoulder, "You will. For the sake of your marriage, you will."
"It isn't much of a marriage without loyalty and trust. How am I supposed to trust my husband when he's sneaking off every night?"
"You're not."
-------------------------------
Your meeting with Prince Jacaerys had gone as expected. Awkwardly.
After introducing yourselves, you took a quiet walk through the garden, the two of you talking about the weather and your families. Nothing terribly personal. Nothing a man would ask his fiance, and nothing a woman would ask hers.
Good girl, sad boy
You couldn't get a good read on him. He looked sad, but he had a level of confidence you couldn't match. He was sure of himself, and it showed.
-------------------------------
That night, a ball was planned in honor of your engagement. After spending hours getting ready, your mother making sure everything was in place, the doors into the great hall opened.
Guests piled in, lord's and ladies, nobility, and knights.
Not long after, you made your entrance, a gentle smile on your face as you moved to sit beside Jacaerys at the long dining table.
She was on your mind
He nodded kindly to you, and for a split second, you thought he was coming around. But the longer the dinner went on, the more you realized that his attention wasn't on you, but the woman at the end of the table.
It was one drink after another
She was dressed in red, the color of blood, and her long dark hair cascaded down her back. She was beautiful. And whenever he caught her eye, he bowed his head and looked away, draining his glass of wine.
With some dickhead guy
Even when the two of you were supposed to be dancing, solely focused on one another, his eyes were glued to her. But she wasn't even looking his way. She was dancing with another. And when she did return his gaze, regret was plastered on her face.
There was something you were missing that had happened between the two of them, but you didn't know what. And you were hesitant to ask. But you had always been curious, and it always got the best of you.
It was only when he stopped dancing all together for a moment that he realized you had followed his gaze. And your heart broke.
Fuckin' situations, circumstances
Pulling away, you excused yourself and quickly exited the hall, ignoring the stares of the people you passed on your way out. This wasn't about them. They weren't a part of this marriage.
Making your way to your guest chambers, you hastily opened the door, closing it softly behind you. You had heard the sounds of slamming doors your whole life—you refused to stop that low.
Just barely yourself together, you could hardly breathe. Struggling to unlace your dress, you spent a few minutes unraveling the string until it hung loosely over your body.
Slipping it off, you were in the middle of untying your corset when you heard a soft tapping at your door.
Hesitant to open it, you inched towards the door, slowly twisting and pulling the handle open to peer out the door.
Standing before you was Prince Jacaerys Velaryon. A look of sadness on his face as he gazed down at you through his lashes, "Lady Y/N, I've come to apologize. May I come in?
"I'm not sure that's appropriate. There'd be talk."
"We're to be wed, there'll be talk regardless."
Accepting his words, you pulled the door open, stepping to the side.
Still standing in your half fastened corset and underdress, you felt bare before him. But according to your mother and sister, he'd see you like this soon enough. So you didn't bother covering up.
"I'm sorry for my actions, my Lady. It was wrong of me to look elsewhere. My attentions should have been solely on you. And from this day on, they will."
You could tell he was sincere, but you had questions. Questions you didn't want to go unanswered.
Can I ask you a question?
"May I ask you something, Prince Jacaerys?"
He nodded, "Please, call me Jace."
Sitting down on the edge of your bed, you pat the spot beside you, "Come, sit."
"I'm not sure this is appropriate."
You raised a brow, "You're already in my chambers unchaperoned, and I am hardly clothed. I think we're past the point of what is and isn't appropriate."
Accepting the truth, he sat beside you, "What would you like to know?"
"Have you ever been in love?"
He shook his head, "I can't answer that."
It's just a question
"But you can. And you will if you wish to earn my respect."
If Aurely could see you know, she'd have your head. But she wasn't here, and neither was your mother.
After a long pause, he nodded, "Yes."
"With the girl—at the ball?"
Half-moon eyes, bad surprise
His head hung in defeat, "Yes."
You shook your head in response, "What's her name?"
Jace's eyes sprung open, "You don't plan on harming her, do you?"
I just may like to have a conversation
"No, Jace, I don't. I just wish to know more about you. You may never love me, and I you, but I want to know what love feels like. Even if I'll never have it."
"Her name is Sara Snow," He said, "She married into a wealthy family. I met her in the gardens of Driftmark."
"Tell me about her."
He glanced over at you, "This doesn't upset you?"
"We're past that point, Jace."
He sighed, "She was beautiful. That was the first thing I noticed about her. Her beauty. She may not have come from a high family, but she was graceful. Around others, at least. She was... Passionate. Born from fire, I used to tell her. She wouldn't take no for an answer."
"How long were you with her?"
"Three years. Whenever I had the chance to be with her, I was. I couldn't stay away. It's like she grabbed me and didn't let go. And I didn't want her to."
You nodded, "When was the last time you were with her?"
Did you realize out of time?
"A day before I found out about our betrothal. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I was unloyal to you."
Miscommunications and I
So your sister had been wrong. About the physical aspect, at least. Emotionally, his heart still yearned for her.
Did you leave her house in the middle of the night?
"How did she take it?"
Did you wish you'd put up more of a fight, oh
He left out a breathy laugh, but he didn't find what he was about to say funny, "She couldn't have cared less. She was wed two days later. I hadn't known she was betrothed."
Do you wish you could still touch her?
"Do you miss her?"
And you're not sure and I don't know
"Yes. No. I think so. Yes. It hurts like hell. But I can't do anything about it. I'm betrothed, she's married. And I honor myself with being loyal."
"I'm sorry, Jacaerys," You said, returning to formalities, "I'm sorry that I'm not Sara Snow."
We had one thing going on
He shook his head, "I'm glad you're not like her."
"In what way?"
I swear that it was something
He sighed, "You're sincere about what you say. You care. And that's easily noticed. It's what will make you a good Queen."
"Thank you, my prince."
The two of you were silent for a moment, and then he turned to you, "It will take time, Y/N, but I don't think I'll harbor love for Sara forever. I think, given time, I will grow to love you not only as a wife, but as a friend. But I need your patience. I'm..."
"Healing?" You finished, finally meeting his eyes.
A sigh of relief washed over him, "My thoughts exactly."
Rising from the bed, he extended a hand to you, "Shall we return to the ball?"
You looked down at your clothes, "I'm not sure it's acceptable to go back as I am."
"I could help you, if you'd like."
"Are you sure?"
Jace picked your gown up off the floor, placing it on the side of the bed, "Certain."
Then what did you do?
He carefully laced up your corset, his fingers gliding a long the ribbons as he criss crossed them, tying it at the bottom.
Turning you to face him, he slipped your gown back over your head, pulling your arms through one at a time before smoothing it down over you.
"Beautiful."
But one thing after another
Your heart fluttered at his comment, but you calmed your nerves, reminding yourself of his words: this will take time.
A color I have searched for since
Gazing up at his brown eyes, his hands stayed at your waist for a moment
Painted all my nights
Your mother had always told you that she found a sense of comfort in deep brown eyes, and until now, you hadn't understood why. But it all made sense now. That color was everything to you from that point on. Because it was his.
-------------------------------
The day of your wedding came, and although there was still a ways to go, you and Jace had come far in your friendship.
'Cause I don't remember who I was before you
Instead of seeking other friends to speak to about everyday topics, you sought out one another, eagerly filling each other in on what happened throughout your days with a smile. Now you were working on building your relationship with each other, which neither of you feared anymore.
So now, as you stood with your finger intertwined, finshing your vows, you accepted your future with Jace gladly.
Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room
He leaned into kiss you, and you met him halfway, softening in his embrace.
But fifteen seconds later they were clapping too?
The only thing that broke you apart was the eruption of clapping from your guests, who were smiling and raising their glasses to the new couple, the future King and Queen of the seven kingdoms.
Does it feel like everything's just like second best after that meteor strike?
From that point on, you were Jace's sole focus. To him, everything else came after you and your happiness.
(I remember)
Years later, you still remembered what he told you that night.
But tonight
Under the night sky, he looked at you and, tucking a strand of hair behind you ear, smiled, saying, "I think it's happening."
"What is?" You questioned, turning to face him.
Got swept away in the gray
"I'm falling in love with you," He said, "I guess it happened faster than I had planned."
"That's the thing about love, Jace. You can't plan it."
He nodded and, with a smile, leaned into your embrace. Jace had fallen for you, and you for him. That was something that could never be taken away.
That you saw that night
After breaking away, you gazed up at him, "And Jace? I'm falling in love with you, too."
-------------------------------
A/N: In so many books, movies, and shows these days, love is shown as something that happens in an instant. Often times, we expect for love to happen at the snap of a finger. But not all love is instant. In this fic, you and Jace fall for each other slowly, and are still actively falling for each other by the end. As much as I love fast love tropes, it's important to remember that sometimes, the things that take the longest wind up being the best.
Thank you all for your support in this series. It means the world to me to read your comments and see how much y'all are enjoying it. Stay safe and love y'all!
jace, after the dinner: why are you following me?
helaena: we're friends now!
jace: that's fine, but why is aemond also following me
helaena: well, you see-
aemond: we're a package deal, bitch.
jace: but don't you hate-
aemond: PACKAGE. DEAL.
Starting off with Addam bending his knee faster than Seasmoke claiming was amazing!
Then we got that interaction with delulu Daemond again. This time it was very touching. I also like to note the interaction of Rhaenyra and Jace was hitting all the right spots, talking about his real heritage while Rhaenyra trying to get dragonseeds.
Then we get the claiming of the dragons. THE DIRECTION OF IT WAS FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!! I mean Ulf running and accidentally killen them dragon eggs that will foreshadow his decision later on in the Dance of the Dragon. And Hugh.......I mean Vermithor, thats already a win.
Rhaenyra staring at Aemond and Vhagar from afar....(chefs kiss)
As for Rhaena, gurl move faster and claim Sheepstealer, I mean Im pretty sad we wont get to see Nettles but I cant wait for Rhaena to claim Sheepstealer.
Or! She will try to claim Sheepstealer but it already has a rider 😮😮😮. And She was carrying a dragon egg that will hatch for Morning. Yes I am now like Daemond Delulu hahahaha!! I CANT WAIT FOR THE SEASON FINALE 😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥😍🔥
