Hello everyone I just wanted to gift you with the smile of Jack and the love of Elizabeth.
So, I’m guessing they are loosely taking inspiration from the “highly popular” Sonny storyline on General Hospital in which Jack didn’t die (I don’t remember if a body was found if so retcon) and instead has amnesia and is living his best life… Abigail and others who know he really is Jack are withholding the truth because they know Elizabeth is in a good place right now with Lucas and it’s best to just let her move on and let it go….
Than, when season 9 of WCTH bombs because people tuned out due to Elizabeth picking Lucas over Nathan among other things it will be canceled move to GAC family for season 10 crossover with WHC who will easily get a season 3 pick up as its GAC family’s flagship original series and Elizabeth will drop Lucas to get with Jack
Oh My God. Lucas you’re patience payed off because... ELIZABETH PICKED YOU! I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT, BUT I’VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY THAN I AM RIGHT NOW!!! Jack was a Season, Nathan was the Reason and Lucas is the Lifetime.
