He gives it back, gives it into someone else’s hands to take away from him, and keeps just one thing, tucked into his palm: a chip of glass from a flying helmet, its edges worn smooth and tinting washed out, knowing just what sort of idle, deliberate movement kept it warm. 

It’ll never be enough, but if its what’s on offer he’ll guard it, defying anyone to make a greater claim.

10. does he like children? NOT as a rule he’s fundamentally cranky. he never expected to be a parent or wanted to be a parent, but he ended up being a father and LOVES his own kid. he and his awful partner (who’s a professor of magic history? lmao) kept the pregnancy bc they knew the kid would be Super Smart like a science experiment but it ended up making them both better people who ensure she’ll want for nothing in her life like they did. wild

21. does med have a temper? meds a fucking demon first of all, he has an AWFUL temper he’s easily incensed and it’s best to just like deescalate the situation, especially if hes Not Sober. he’s a typical ugly raised-voice slam-doors alcoholic dad. hes sick and traumatized but tbh? no excuses hes really an ugly man and his angry self is his worst self unless its channeled into kicking bad guy ass

41. sexuality and relationships for med is a WILD question. he’s like 50 at this point and he lives in the farthest back corner of the bi closet tho hes had physical relationships with at least one man. he’s got a troubling relationship with sex, he throws himself heart and body into his most important relationships and finds it difficult to separate sex from other expressions of caring so like..a Mess. hes into powerful women who love drama and treat him a little bad, tho what he needs is someone who’s patient, kind and doesnt tolerate his bullshit (his final canon wife, the last of like four).

Tbh I think some of this is lack of knowledge - like the affects of binding are totally intuitive but the lack of comprehensive studies on this make it really hard for it to be a thing ppl know to warn about. It’s mindboggling tho, I know so many transmasculine and butch ppl who’ve bound for years and are very up on day-to-day safe practices but just haven’t articulated longterm plans for themselves (I say, in the same boat)

Yeah I think a lot of people see it as a sort extra thing to put on during the day that affects how they look and feel that day, but don't really even consider what it means long term, or how they will manage dysphoria long term. And then being told that "Oh binding is perfectly safe and causes no problem" makes a lot of people think there is nothing really to question about the practice, and they don't -need- to think of a longterm solution. It's super self-fulfilling in that way.

wedge just showed up in one epsiode in season 3 so far, no idea if we’ll see him again, and well, it’s a Disney animation so it can be pretty damn cheesy but. the end of S2 and into S3 have been pretty dark and lore-heavy. And we’re talking wee baby imperial cadet defector Wedge here so. Yes?
