if you think about the puppy pack being the new gen of the mccall pack, then i think the chimera pack is the new gen of the hale pack/beta trio. theo and derek r very similar as alphas/leaders (since theo was def not an alpha) with how they treat their betas as soldiers, and are the reason why some of them die (theo directly, derek indirectly) and also push some of their betas to migrate into scotts pack. obviously that means hayden is the new isaac, leaving theo fairly quickly to join liams pack and then ultimately moving away from beacon hills just like isaac did. corey i would say is the new boyd, both of them being invisible in their previous lives before the supernatural and most importantly just wanting to be seen. corey is also the one who seems most okay with being a chimera—outside of when he’s in danger ofc and when theo puts him in danger— because it changes things for him in a good way. boyd was also like that, he even thanked derek for turning him because his life was worse before. tracy is the new erica, becoming more confident after being turned and also becoming more violent. both of them seem meaner after they transform, which we know is only a coping mechanism for the way they were both treated prior to being turned. tracy also has night terrors before being turned similarly to how erica had epilepsy. (similar in that both of these issues impacted their lives a lot; erica had no friends and was being made fun of and tracy could barely focus on school) josh reminds me of jackson, bc of the ways they’re both treated as expendable by theo and derek respectively. theo and derek didnt care about josh and jackson, derek only biting jackson because he was annoying and he knew there was a chance he would die, and theo killed josh twice both times for his own gain, not caring about the life he was taking.

anyway the chimera pack is just the more dark messed up version of an already dark and messed up pack 😭

I'm curious what exactly you mean when you say Jackson's "trauma"? Because if I remember correctly, they established that he wasn't consciously aware ever of the kanima's actions. He might feel guilt in the aftermath (though given his personality I have doubts), but it's not like he was watching through his eyes as the kanima slaughtered people as far as we know.

And outside of the kanima stuff, Jackson has the absolute cushiest, least traumatic life on the show. (Being adopted is not 'trauma' and also isn't an excuse for him being a terrible person as the show almost tried to play it). If they tried to talk trauma Jackson would probably only last five minutes while Ethan could go on for hours.

In short I really don't think they're as compatible as you're making them out to be.

I wouldn't advise telling people what they can and can't find traumatizing. Finding out you're adopted could absolutely be traumatizing. Trauma doesn't discriminate. Having a lot of money doesn't exempt you from trauma. Even a billionaire with PTSD still has PTSD. They just have better resources available to them to treat it.

I don't subscribe to this 'I have more trauma than you' thinking. Yes, Ethan's been through a lot. But he created a lot of the destruction around him. So, that's another thing he and Jackson have in common, guilt.

If you want more, Jackson went through what he thought was bite rejection. He literally had black goo coming out of his every orifice and probably thought he was dying. Pretty traumatizing, no?

There was the whole storyline about him forcing himself to be the best because he thought his real parents gave him up and didn't love him. He covered his pain with anger to keep people from getting too close.

I mean, he was a pretty complex character.

Jackson was one of my awakenings back in the day, when Teen Wolf only had one season. Everyone say thank you Jackson, without him, this blog probably wouldn’t have existed.

I couldn’t narrow it down to just one kink, so this is just kind of an overall nsfw hc thing. Hope that’s still good tho.
