I realise I hadn’t done a “things I make” post in a long while, but a conversation with @glumshoe jogged my brain, so, here’s an assortment, with terrible layout. Clockwise from top: Mary Rose style leathern flacket bottel in black (holds approx. 750ml), Mary Rose style leathern flacket bottel in Russet, a section of the “jack wall” framed by belts in progress, a customer jack-in-use shot from the final pubsing at my home renaissance faire, a custom crimson jack, and (lastly) a very cute macchiato kitty from lunch at the local cat cafe. I took the shot to remind/prove to my customers that all of my jacks and bottles are heat-proof, and that I use them myself, daily. One by one I’m watching the festivals and events that I sell my wares at closing, and I’m grateful they are...I want my friends/patrons/fellow participants to stay safe as houses. However, that means that all this lovely jackware I’ve been making is lacking a home, and buying new leather (and pesky food/drink) is getting harder. All current stock is available in my shop, with more on the workbench as I write: http://www.dacianfalxleather.com/
