Being Jacob’s Best Friend Would Include...(Female POV)

Bear hugs where he lifts you off the ground

Being called his “best girl” 

If you have long hair, he definitely tugs on it when he’s teasing you

He tries braiding your hair

And is actually pretty good at it

Fighting to get food when eating with other members of the pack, but Jake always saving you a bite

Riding on the back of his motorcycle 

Watching horror movies

Where you pretend to be scared even if you’re not because he’ll let you snuggle into his side

Platonically holding hands

Though if you grab someone else’s hand (say Embry’s or Quil’s), Jake will take your other hand and pull you back to him

Bc even though you’re not dating, he’s still a little possessive

Not in a creepy way

If it becomes creepy, you have no problem letting him know, and he backs off

Pushing him away from you in the summer bc he’s too dang hot and you are melting

Never letting him go in the winter because he’s so dang hot and you are freezing

Him keeping a stock of blankets and socks and hats for you at his house even though he doesn’t personally need them. He just doesn’t want you to get cold

And blankets in his car

And at his friends’s houses

Trips to the beach and to the lake

He makes really good omelets

Watching the game with him and Billy

Having to refill the popcorn bucket 10,000 times

Going on walks when he’s angry

Pointing out things that are beautiful about life to calm him down

Ranting to him over text-message when someone pisses you off

Bringing people you’re interested in to meet him

He judges them harshly, but honestly, and likely saves you from many bad dates

You’d do the same for him, of course, if he ever brought anyone home

Having hand signals to communicate without speaking

Quil figures it out

He learns it too

The three of you silently talk crap about other pack-members, and it starts to get on their nerves

They still love you though

Jake coming home to find you eating lunch with Billy even though Jake definitely doesn’t remember inviting you over

You just show up at each other’s houses. Open door policy

His smile always making you smile, too
