Transforming Into the Image of God

I had a visual of The Transformers and the radical way an object gets transformed into something totally new. You know what it looks like. And it’s extreme! Right in the middle of the transformation, you think, “What on earth is going on? This looks ridiculous! How can this become something great?” But it does. That’s what Jesus does. He transforms us into His image. To something greater than we could ever imagine. This is a transformation we desire. We want to be like Him. To love like Him, to proclaim like Him, to heal the broken hearted like Him. So, we hang out with Him. We just want to be with Him.
