She keeps her legs over yours so you can’t close them as Jasper pushes the rest of himself into you. “Almost there, just- hold on.” Jasper say, closing his eyes and taking in a breath he knew he didn’t need. But he needed to compose himself or else he could risk hurting you. “It’s alright, Jas, you won’t hurt her.” Alice says as she takes her attention off of you for a moment to look at Jasper. With those words, he pushes himself into you completely without any warning. He watched you cry out and arch your back, clinging onto Alice’s arm for support. For a moment he thought he hurt you, until he felt the pure bliss you were in.

one thing i wish was discussed more in the books is the fact that Carlisle suggested Jasper and Alice get married.

Like just imagine the late night talks he had with Esme, worrying about how his two new children were unmarried and sharing a bed. Esme just rolls her eyes and nods so he’ll stop going on and on about it

Alice and Jasper agree and then proceed to have one of the longest engagements ever just because they know how much it gets to him. The year of the wedding Alice decides she hates her dress and spends the next five years making her own. Only now Jaspers suit doesnt match so she has to make that two. Carlisle is ripping out his hair and sobbing in a corner

The way that mates work in Twilight is fascinating to me. Soulmates aren’t a thing in Twilight—it’s just that when a vampire falls in love, they stay in love. Yet Alice had visions of Jasper without deciding to look for him. Something decided that Jasper was the person she would love and showed it to her. And there’s also mates where one vampire is really into it and one isn’t. Victoria really loved James, but James didn’t care about her, for example. It’s just interesting to me.

Reading James’s backstory in the Twilight guide, AND I’M SORRY WHAT?! What do you mean James watched Alice wake up in her vampire life and then “let her go” to wait until she was a better challenge?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BELLA WAS NOT EVEN THE MAIN TARGET!!!? He clearly states that he was excited “for a snack,” but that he was going to hunt Alice along with the rest of her family after angering them for killing Bella!!

Can you just imagine the switch up if once he’d recognized Alice, he just went after the family as a whole instead? This could have been a solid 2-3 book series just based on this plot.
