It's Friday and for me, that means Journal Club, an enthusiastic and welcoming community of creatives exploring life, meaning and themselves on the page. One of the guiding concepts that I use in the studio and in life is working with Focus Areas. These represent your true priorities and act as compass points on your journey to living an authentic creative life. Each year, each season and each week I check in with my Focus Areas, dreaming and planning in alignment with what truly matters to me. We do the same in my Mindful Mondays circle and in the Studio Yearbook, where each week you check in and create plans that will honour and nourish what is truly core to you, whether that's Art, Nesting, Vitality, Connection, whatever Focus Areas you have named and claimed as your own. In the midst of all the change with our renovation, we're also changing it up with the Studio Yearbook. I love finding little unexpected treasures to glue in my Studio Yearbook. I had to look closely at the cover of the community paper to find a sweet little dog as my "image.of the day".
