Alam immediately scoops Vern up and holds him close. "Hey, hey, it is okay, I was kind of stuck doing some things with Kishar, Utur and their kids, I never doubted that you loved me!" He presses a soft, yet surprisingly concerned, kiss on Vern's forehead.
"I love you very much, please let me take you to the clinic or at the very least my room. You look like you need to lie down."

Kishar notices the little arthropods. They're curious, but don't want to startle or harm the little guys, so they carefully sit down nearby and watch from a distance, giving them some space.
Jax is wandering the halls when he bumps into Kish, almost literally so given he was staring at his phone and not watching where he was going.
"Oh, um, hey. Didn't see you there lol. You're Kish, right? The Janitor." They stammer out an introduction awkwardly, trying not to embarrass themself.
