i usually keep the decorating extremely basic, and these little guys are no exception. they’re oreo balls, but they’re bats! (yes, i am aware that it’s may.)

this is a long shot, i know, but if anybody’s in pennsylvania and would like some, hit me up :)

first time baking in a long time and it feels pretty good. funfetti, confetti, vanilla and sprinkles, whatever you wanna call it. 

this belated birthday cake for geoff also became a fun test of my iphone pic editing skills. i’m not as rusty as i expected to be so that was nice. 

finally got to use the baking strips (not bacon strips - baking strips) i bought for my cake pans and they worked great. 10/10, might leave a nice review on amazon. 

as usual, sprinkles by rory (age 2).

ahh! haven’t made these in a while, but st. patrick’s day is as good a time as any. vanilla cupcakes made with cereal milk and marshmallow filling! i got tired of eating green food in march, but i did use my green cake plate, so i figure that + the lucky charms = close enough.

if you want some, please let me know. i have way too many haha so i will drive them around la tomorrow and drop them off as usual.

not able to share today (sorry!), but i tried something new last night and this morning and wanted to post about it. it took a little trial and error at first to get the shape right, but overall, i’m pretty happy with how these came out :) i can now officially say i’ve made danish butter cookies!

the kitchen’s been busy again this week -

candy-coated oreo balls

apple cheesecake pie (+homemade vanilla ice cream)

blueberry cheesecake pie

strawberry shortcake trifle

all of these have a home, but if anybody has requests for when i get back to la, let me know and i’ll see if i can’t whip something up for you :)

my kitchen has been a busy place over the last two weeks, and i could not be happier about that. it’s a little cheesy, but i always feel so at home when i’m making sweet things to give to people that i love <3

time isnt real and my whole body is stiff as fuck after a 14 hour flight, but it felt AWESOME to get back into the kitchen again.

you’re looking at my personal chocolate cake recipe with reese’s cups, m&ms, chocolate chips, brownie pieces, hot fudge, mini chocolate chip cookies, and homemade chocolate buttercream frosting. @goldenxg0d, i hope you’re ready for this monster!

after a full 24 hours of them asking, i finally said yes. eggs, turkey bacon, and cake for breakfast! 🥳
